Good morning! 61F and partly cloudy, chance of rain later. Need to refill the roadside stand today, probably make some bundles as well. Music practice at church tonight. Have a God day!

 

Morning All. Went for our walk this morning. Fog overcast this morning again. It has been burning off later in the day. Took Mom's car down island and found out it wasn't a wheel bearing. It was the transaxle bearing. So because of the age of the car, how little Mom actually drives it and how long she may keep driving, they suggested that to just run it for a while longer and see what happens. I really like the shop we take our vehicles to. I don't know what we are going to do when the owners retire.

I think Midwinter enjoys the summer months very much. So much outdoor stuff to do. When it starts to snow, she may be back.

 

We had some hard rain last night. I dumped out 2.36 inches this morning.

I hope to move some more wood around as I rearrange some racks in the woodyard.

Good morning y'all. Hope y'all have a FABULOUS FRIDAY. Days off are over, start 7PM-7AM shift tonight. 73° rhis morning. We got 3/4" rain yesterday, for a total of 5.3" for the week, sure put a damper of outside work. Going over to my sister's house to clean off a spot for a storage building.
Then hope to split and cut some more oak. Nap time after lunch...

It's been super slow that past 2 weeks but most of the summer has been quite good. I've finally managed to get a little ahead on inventory but I still need to get about 3 more cords before I start feeling comfortable. I expect Labor Day weekend will clean out what's in the stand. At least I hope so!

Whoops. I missed the morning message. Overcast with rain for about an hour this morning. Now the sun is out and it is windy, really windy. Got our walk in before the rain and then I headed back up to the church to do a little more painting. Bookshelves and a cabinet, then the two rooms will be finished.

Good Morning. Getting things ready for canning pickled beets. Tomorrow will be a day for canning more tomato sauce. Nothing else specific planned. Weather has been really nice here the last few weeks…no highs above mid to upper 70s, and some timely rains for the gardens.

Warm, muggy day ahead.

We did get some rain yesterday. 1.5 inches. That gives us 2.5 inches for the week. It's a dent in the drought we're experiencing. Hopefully more will fall next week. It's still very much needed.

I'll go for a walk this morning. Then, run a few errands.
