    Not much to happen today. It appears we may have cloudy today but that might keep the temp from going too high. Yesterday turned out warmer than expected but it was a beautiful day and the temperature felt much cooler that what it read at 86 degrees. No air conditioning needed.

    Picked my father up yesterday And brought him to the house, as the assisted-living home 4 miles up the street has been in quarantine for a couple weeks. Since I didn’t see Him on Father’s Day or my birthday.. ask him what do you want to do on the Fourth of July. Do you wanna go to a family party, was his pick. He said he wanted to go down to Port Henry New York and see his grandmothers home and clean the cemetery stones. Great that’s what we’re doing today.

    Called him at six am to make sure he’s been up compression leggings on and breakfast yup he’s ready to go in an hour. Called him at eight as we’re getting ready to leave to go grab him. Oh you’re coming with us, yeah dad wife doesn’t know where it is grandma house is yet .. Oh we’re going to Port Henry?

    Dementia it’s a fun time..:(
    looking at bright side he still remembers us..

    Morning All. Rain this morning and for a couple of days. We had a nice visit with the kids, watched the Blue Jays lose and I got my bookkeeping done. Nearly finished a quilt top as well. Just doing the final borders. Off to work this week - the last week. Lots of odds and ends to finish up.

    Mowed most of the lawn yesterday afternoon and got up in time to finish it before the rain moved in. I also got the A/C compressor cleaned of all the cotton wood lint. Started raining around 10 and looks to continue until later this afternoon. Good thing is it isn't raining hard and not much wind:thumbs:

    Thank you Dennis! Yes, the wood supply hasn't diminished much. It's funny, when I joined FHC and started hoarding with abandon, I really didn't have an idea of how much wood I actually needed. The bunch of you are such cheerleaders, I just kept going, and this is the end result.
    I just hope I live long enough to burn it all!
