We're back at the canal. The western end that runs into Buzzards Bay.

Good morning, y'all. Hope y'all have a FABULOUS FRIDAY. Heading out to clean up more trees. Stopping by a different friend's house on the way to help him move a tree that fell last week, then on to the logging job at the Plantation.
Count your blessings, not your problems...
    GOD LOVES YOU AND ME

Good morning everyone! Today begins our heat. Low 80's today, 90's for the weekend, 80's next week. Finally. Cue the complaints to start around Sunday.
Last Saturday Mt. Washington got snow, and a hiker died of hypothermia.
    Happy summer break, Woodwidow!
I've been finding a few chunks of wood at the dump, nothing major.
My husband strained his back from picking up one of his elderly lady riders who tripped on a curb. He was taking her to a shelter to adopt a cat. She's fine, she got her cat, but he has been nursing his back, so no road trips this week.
    Here are some poppies. IMG_20220624_12735.jpg
    Have a good Friday!

Not good to hear Molly. Please tell Tod we are thinking of him. Sad when we are doing something good and hurt ourselves while doing it. But imagine if he had not been there to help. He is a good man.

MikeInMa I like those type of bridges. We have one in MI too but a bit smaller.

There are 2 car bridges and the one train bridge that cross the Cape Cod Canal. I've been over all three and under all three. The latter via a Canal cruise years ago.

Good morning! 61F, sunny and beautiful. I got home last night to find 3+ cords of locust dropped off by a tree service. Biggest trunk I've ever had (although most of the big stuff tends to end up at my place). I used the skid steer to make a neat stack out of some of the logs, moved big trunk pieces back to the production area. Pushed some other piles around to tidy up and cleaned off the driveway. Unloaded the IBC totes I picked up in the morning. I need to get new reciprocating blades tonight so I can prep the totes for firewood. I'll probably do a little cutting tonight as well. Have a God day!

Good morning everybody. Gonna get up to 80 today.
Molly, sorry to hear about Tod's back.
Have a safe drive home Mike.
Have tree guys here. Power company sent them to take 5 dead pines down. I called them about a month ago.
    Have a great day all.

Morning all. We are in a stretch of great weather here. campinspecter got clothes dry on the outside line and the lawn mowed yesterday. Things are slowly drying out. I hope on Sunday to be able to get some work done in the garden. Overall Awards Day went well with only a couple of small glitches. Now it is report card time and ending the school year duties to be done.

    Everyone have a great day.

Supposed to hit 90 today. Yesterday it got to 89 but was a really nice day as the dew point was in the low 50's so no sticky air. Felt good. I did have to go to Saginaw again but this time I remembered my wallet...

Good morning. Woke up to 74f. One hour later it was 66f with a light steady rain, which we really needed. Got to pick up materials for my sauna build up north. Then some succession planting of zucchini, cilantro, lettuce, and basil.

About a year ago, when I was getting ready to go out to run errands, I began verbalizing a little phrase, so I'd not forget to take what was needed.

Mrs MikeinMa, being the funny person she is, had this door mat made for me at Christmas.

Good Morning... :coffee: ... Went fishing overnight. Only caught one, so I didn't get skunked. However my cell phone is in the bottom of the spillway... :picard: .... Went to go look at the time and flopped out of my hand... Through a two inch vertical gap in the railing... :hair:

Oh I know... Stuff happens... But how it found that gap... :loco: .... It was weird seeing it drop in the darkness with the screen on splashing into the water and going down stream.. with the screen up wards till it sank. :picard:... I think I have all inclusive warranty... But I still have my old phone... just have to get it back up and going...

Morning All. Foggy this morning but with the promise of sunshine. It was warm yesterday and we found out that the ice cream trailer is open again for the summer. A real popular place it was. Midwinter I predict that my diet has gone down the drain for the summer.

Jesus said “Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest." Matthew 11:28. Have we taken our burdens and cares to the Lord in prayer? The old hymn What a Friend We have in Jesus is so true today.

    Happy Sabbath everyone.
