    Good morning. We had a busy week watching our granddaughter while our daughter and son-in-law were at the hospital having their second child…a healthy baby boy. We are elated!

    Getting ready for some fishing this morning. The bluegill should be in shallow now and feeding heavily before the spawn.

    Good morning, members.

    Summery day ahead. Mid 60's, clear, and muggy. Heading to the upper 80's.

    Myself and a few others will be gathering at my SIL's to split some red oak. Starting at 8am, to avoid the growing heat. If energy allows, the splits will be moved to my place. I'm pretty sure the AC will be on later.

    Good Celtics game last night. Bruins game 7 this afternoon. Celtics game 7 tomorrow afternoon.

    last year was the first time for us to have air conditioning on in the month of May. Only one day but we normally don't run the air until in July or sometimes in late June. So yesterday I had to give in and run it for about 2 or 3 hours. Nuts.

    Morning All. No sunshine this morning. Overcast with a light sprinkling of rain. I think we are in for a week of rain. Took the cover off the RV yesterday as we have company coming next week and yesterday it was dry. Much easier to store if it is dry.

    We all go through storms in our life and sometimes we feel so alone. The disciples faced a storm and tried to get through it alone. When they remembered Jesus sleeping in the boat, their fight against the storm turned out quite differently. I pray that each of you have Jesus in your life before the storms hit.

    When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; and when you pass through the rivers, they will not sweep over you. When you walk through the fire, you will not be burned; the flames will not set you ablaze. Isaiah 43:2

    Good evening! 76F now, down since it turned cloudy but hasn't rained. I hauled about 1/2 cord of cottonwood home from a tree service job. Then split some wood for the roadside stand. I need to make some bundles and call it a day. Have a God day![​IMG]

    The spoiling is well underway. We got called over yesterday for a visit and to help out while our son-in-law did some shopping, and our daughter took a well needed nap.

    Mid 60's, overcast, with DP low 60's. Mid 70's later with slight chance of showers.

    My shoulder is reminding me that it was used yesterday while wooding. I was thinking I'd move the pile of splits today, but it can wait.

    We're head out later to go to a restaurant we've not been to since pre-covid. Looking forward to it.

    I saw the beginning of gypsy moth caterpillar season yesterday. 1/4 long. We're hoping for a rainy/wet month ahead. That helps to keep them in check.

    Bruins lost, done for this season. Go Celtics!
