Morning All. Instead of waking up to rain, it is sunny skies with fresh snow on the hills behind us. We had a good trip down island yesterday. The only thing is that Shadow needs a growth removed so that will happen in a couple of weeks. Off the work for the last day this week. I have tomorrow off.

    Everyone have a great day.

Good morning everybody. Currently 72* and climbing.
Chaz and I had a good evening. We sat up at the barn just talking. He brought a box of wine up and put in the fridge so if I need a refill won't have to run down to the house.
    Happy anniversary WinonaRail.
    Mike the preserve sounds great.
    Have a great day all.

    Good morning, members.

Warmest morning in a while. Windows were left open overnight for the first time. 62⁰ outside. 71⁰ inside. Foggy. Heading to near 80⁰. I might flip the AC switch just to make sure it's good to go for the real summer heat and humidity.

    Ceiling fans are wonderful devices!

I have P/OT this morning. Then run a few errands while I'm out.

My folks are hanging in there. Still no symptoms, fortunately.

    Be safe
    Be healthy

Happy Friday everyone! It's nice to finally have some summer weather. I mowed the lawn in a bikini top, shorts, and sunscreen, trying to pick up a little tan.
I've got the pool filling up with water. Over the winter, we drop the water level to below the plumbing intakes etc.
I put 6 tomato plants and 3 pepper plants in barrels. Not going crazy with the tomatoes like last year. I also planted some garlic last fall, but the darn squirrels ate a lot of it. IMG_20220513_3567.jpg
The rack behind the pool is the ash I got from the dump.

Yesterday was strange. We got to a hot 89 degrees! I did outside work early. It could have been worst but strangely enough our humidity was 29%.

I moved some of the wood from the GTG and the lane was getting a bit rough so I smoothed that out. Then I loaded up with wood and coming out I saw tracks of a turtle freshly made so they must be out laying their eggs now.

That is good news on your mom and dad. Praying they don't have any, either.

Good morning, y'all. Hope y'all have a FABULOUS FRIDAY the 13th....
I had to start my 7AM-7PM shift today, it picked a good day to rain, a nice slow soaking rain. We sure needed it.
    65° early this morning.

We were going out for dinner with friends last night. As Miz Carol walked around the car, she saw an unauthorised checking the car out... 0512221804.jpg

Morning All. Just above freezing this morning with sunny skies. Not too surprising when you think how cold our spring has been. Old-timers say that last frost date here is the long weekend in May. For us that is Victoria weekend on May 21. Midwinter your pots look great. I still haven't cleaned mine out yet.

Church work this morning and then house cleaning. We are celebrating Mom's 97 birthday next weekend so I have a bit of cleaning to do. Mainly just to put stuff away. It is easy to get into the habit to leave stuff piled wherever you used it last.

    Everyone have a great day.

Got 95% of the framing done on the shop lean-to. Still need to add fascia board on the overhangs but I'm going to wait on that until I'm ready to pull off the existing siding. Almost ready for metal.

Good morning! 77F and sunny. Scattered rain coming in this weekend. I need to do a second mowing tonight before that happens. If I get that done, I have tree service wood to pick up in town. Have a God day!
