Sorry to hear it.

My nights are also short, usually. If I can get 7hrs of sleep, I feel lucky.

I fall asleep ok. Biological activity about 5hrs later. Some nights, I just can't get back to sleep. Oh well.... life happens.

 

Good morning. Got a busy day ahead canning fish from this past winter. It is 25f outside, but the fire and coffee are warm. I think it is supposed to be sunny and close to 50f today after a week of off and on snow everyday.

 

Good morning everyone! Gray sky, rain later. I've been refilling a woodshed bay, and moving green splits into vacated racks.
Taxes are filed Thank God and my accountant. Now shopping for a real estate agent. They must be busy, so far no callbacks.
Husband is recovering from his cold, and I'm coming down with it. Might want to skip my grandson tomorrow. Stay off the floor today!

 

Amen to that. And, icy driveways!

 

Morning, the melt continues here, still around 2 feet of snow in most spots.

 

Still winter up there. Spring should be arriving soon for you.

 

We will have snow in the bush in June here.

Morning All We were suppose to wake up to snow this morning. Instead partially clear skies and freezing temperatures. There is fresh snow on the hills behind us. Mixed bag of weather today with clearing tomorrow.

It finally made it to 50° with a strong breeze. House was down to 63°, built a

 

Turned out good! This recipe makes a canned white fish (pike in this case) come out far better than canned tuna for fish salad sandwiches, or the fish/noodle casserole that we make.


I used 2 perused lids from water bath applications last year. Good to know they work as lids have been in short supply here.

Good morning. Church with my wife and granddaughter this morning. First I am going to go out and turn some kitchen scraps and fish remains into the compost to get it fired up for the season.
