    Morning All. Shadow got her teeth cleaned yesterday and we found out that the muffler for the truck that should have been here by now isn't coming. So our car shop has to order a muffler from Quebec. We are a single car family for awhile. The carport looks kind of empty. Curling is on this week so no wood gathering anyway.

    Good afternoon everyone! WinonaRail, congrats on the ebay saws!
    Tod is Covid negative, just has a cold on top of allergies. He's skipping the gym and taking lots of naps. I haven't caught it, but I did get some bursitis in my left knee. Swimming is fine, but I have to stop doing the elliptical.
    Picked up some dry dead poplar from a landscaping crew at my accountant's. Remains to be seen if it is burnable. cUuZCIx.jpeg

    This stuff works. Also 2 Benadryl just before bed works. I didn't take the Benadryl last night. Now I have them under control. Sure wish I could take quinine but it can no longer be prescribed.

    Morning All. Dark, dreary and drizzly this morning. I have been surfing FHC too long and reading about people's yard side scores. We don't get yard scores here as there aren't too many yard trees and when one does come down, the homeowner usually always keeps the firewood or knows someone who wants it. BUT as I drove home from work past a neighbours house, I get hooked looking at a very nice pile of alder rounds in their driveway. I was wondering where they got it from and who did they get it from thinking also that it would be a great pile to split. It also is hard driving down island and seeing all the downed trees on the side of the road and no place to stop and get them.

    Anyway, last day of work this week and it has been a busy one. Looking forward to tomorrow.

    Good morning! 41F and cloudy. Chance of rain in the afternoon and snow overnight. Indiana weather is wonderful. I need to build 2 more racks from pallets I recently picked up. My sawbuck is in a serious state of disrepair so I may work on that tonight as well. I can do all of it inside my barn so weather won't matter. Hopefully I can get some splitting in tomorrow.
