Good morning y'all. Hope y'all have a MARVELOUS MONDAY. Back to work for me today. Got a smaller pecan limb to cut up when I get off, probably gonna let my hunny use her new toy to do the deed.

    Good morning, everyone.

Time to bring a rack up on the deck, and begin filling it with shoulder wood. Ash and maple should do just fine.

    'Tis the season!

Good morning everyone! The weather guy has promised us a week with no rain. Today I'll start prepping the pool. First there are some cracks above the waterline, right under the coping, that I'll fill with stuff that comes in a tube. It's a cement pool, coated with Sani-tred and epoxy paint. Then, a good clean, like scrubbing a big bath tub. Oh boy, just what I love doing most.
I'll try to sneak in a little saw time to reward myself. Have fun with the pecan limb Miz Carol!
    Have a good day all.

When will you start painting the pool? You can still go swimming in ours, we usually have it closed by now. It was 70° on the way to work this morning.

Have you been able to recover your log tongs yet?

I didn't know Midwinter lost her tongs.

Good morning all, busybusybusy weekend. Did I happen to mention it was a busy weekend??? Beautiful Saturday, cut a truckload of slab wood for the boiler. Then the one son in law and grandson and I roofed and sided a deer blind he built. It is on stilts and we were working 10' and higher. Then did a little fishing before supper.
Sunday, rained in the morning but then a nice breeze so kept sawing large crotches and logs into workable sizes for the splitter.

Everyone have a safe week, enjoy it, use it to its fullest and I sure do appreciate all of you and this forum. God Bless You All.

No,they're still out there, haven't gone since a week ago. I'd like nothing better to hop in the car for a drive, but I've got to get the pool painted and the oak split.

Good morning y'all. Hope y'all have a TERRIFIC TUESDAY. Another day of work for me, maybe I can visit the wood pile this evening and tonight. Nice 64° this morning. Whatever the day brings, I know the GOOD LORD is already there.

Good morning everyone! A little more prep, and sunshine to evaporate the dew, and I'll start painting. I also got a lot of oak cut yesterday, so I'll do some splitting after the painting. I have to use up two gallons, because it's epoxy. It goes a long way.
Husband gets his other eye fixed tomorrow, it's been driving him crazy having one good eye and one bad one. Then he'll be home the rest of the week. Maybe we can take a drive to Winchester to get him out and about.
Only two and a half weeks until Walt's gtg! I'm really looking forward to that.
    Have a great day everyone!

She found the tools and has dug some...our country store has the hardware needed...
