Good morning y'all. Hope y'all have a SUPER SATURDAY. Weekend off, what fun we can have...43° this morning, a bit cooler that the past couple mornings. Not complaining, for sure. We have 2 tree jobs to do today, finish taking down a big pecan and then going to our church to take down a big sweet gum, maybe pine and oak. Finally had access to the boom truck. Should be fun. I'll try to get my hunny to take pictures...

Morning All. No rain yet but but wild, wild wind all night and this morning. It is supposed to last all day. Mom is going to try and catch a ferry this afternoon to come over here. We are meeting up with the family on Sunday to celebrate our 50th anniversary. This is similar weather to the day we were married.

Jesus met a Samaritan woman at the well. Although she was from a different culture and a different religion, he still offered her the living water of salvation because of his love. His example is one for us to follow.

18⁰ to start. Moving to upper 30's. Chance of snow flurries tonight.

After dealing with snow management for 2 days, I'm done with it. I'll spend time instead going up and down the cellar stairs, putting camping gear back where it lives.

Good morning. When pruning my apple trees yesterday I could really feel the strength of the sun even though it was cold and windy outside.

 

Good morning everyone! Ran around shopping yesterday, and finished cleaning the driveway. Today my grandson comes up. He got snow at his house, but I'm sure he'll want to play in ours as well. We got almost 7 inches.

I don't know about the rest of you, but I'm sick of winter!

She has figured out how to get through most of the dog doors we have in the house and how to go upstairs without tripping herself.

 

Morning All. Wind finally died down last night. Temps have dropped as well. Our trip today will see snow on the side of the road and hopefully not on the road. Really looking forward to seeing the grandkids. It has been two years since I have had a hug from them. They will be heading off to a couple days of skiing after our lunch party.

Signs of spring are definitely showing up around here.

Sat one more time in the spear house after church before pulling it off today. It was in the low 30s, sunny and calm. It was nice to work out side without gloves and clean the fish in the garage with the door open.


Ice is still over 2 feet and there is a lot of snow, but I was able to keep the stove on low and sit in a t shirt inside the dark house during the afternoon.


Took one fish for dinner.
