    Good morning everyone! Mike, sounds like your camping trip will be extra special this time! Looking forward to your pics.
    Never did do any wood carrying yesterday, so I'll get to it today. Also need to check with my neighbor to see how her supply is holding up. Warm days are good for restocking.
    Halfway through February, just have to get through a long unpredictable March. Uw8QSzb.jpeg

    Morning All. We have wind this morning. Last of the high pressure ridge departing so a rain system can move in.
    Up early this morning so campinspecter can head down island for a vet appt with Shadow. A wellness check for her. I am headed in to work this morning.

    Good morning y'all. Hope y'all have a WONDERFUL WEDNESDAY. Another day off, so my neighbor, Mike, and I are taking the tractor back to the log honey hole. Had about 1/2 trailer load left from last time and the owner has started thinning out some oak trees for us...
    My hunny is going to help our daughter. Youngest grandson is sick, taking him to Dr.

    Good morning! 44F and cloudy, rain moving in later today and wind picking up as well. Met with a property owner last night. Had over 250 trees logged recently. Some along a trail, most skidded out to a landing. Tops galore. He says I can have all of it. Should keep me busy for at least 3 years. Finally got a load of "seasoned" (dead standing) wood last night. Most of it cut 14"-16", some completely random. It was about 40% less that I was expecting based on his description of his dump bed. Pretty sure he can't read a tape measure. Anyway, I got about half of the load stacked in racks and moved to the processing center. I'll try to get it split this weekend and then cut what's left. It's nice to feel like I'm not about to run out of wood for the moment. Have a God day!

    My buddy and I will be heading out mid-morning. No real timetable for today. So, we'll be in no rush getting to a 3rd camping friend's place. We should be in for the night, before the winds and rain arrive.
