    My wife had some and I thought they fit me but found out they won't fit my boots. I'll have to try them on a pair of shoes.

    I also have 7 or 8 five gallon buckets that are full of sand that I keep on hand just for times like this.

    Actually if I were to watch I'd hope for a great game from the Rams quarterback. He is one of the very best and it is sad he had to play for Detroit and they never had a decent team. Through the years they seem to put their hopes on one big name player and forget it takes a team. So I'm happy for him to finally get a big chance in a super bowl. btw, the last championship in Detroit was in 1957.

    Just below freezing and snowing. Flurries are forecast for the next 24hrs. 1-3 inches in total. Nuisance snow!

    I'll be dealing with inside stuff today.

    Super bowl tonight. I'll be looking for a good game. So, I'll be rooting for whoever is behind. Just us two, so a simple spaghetti and meatballs/sausage will make the place smell good.

    Good morning. We have a party planed with our family for the game. My wife has a list of appetizers and foods she is going to be making. I like the gatherings of family and/or friends, and the food and drink more than the games when it comes to sports.

    My father always had 2 season tickets to the Vikings at the old Metropolitan Stadium in the 70s until it was closed in 1981. I liked going with him when it was my turn out of my three brothers. I don’t remember as much about the games as dressing up for the cold, the time with dad, the food, and all the people who were in snowmobile suits. Most people were in a very festive mood - probably from all the antifreeze (brandy)!

    Think I'll be spreading sand on the ice today. The forecast does sound great for this week, especially Wednesday with 48 daytime and 24 night. Rain changing to snow and windy. Thursday as 31 with a wintry mix followed by snow.

    Morning All. I think we are in for another nice day. We went for a walk yesterday afternoon and my knee held up. I just couldn't go as fast as we used to.
    Chores, bookkeeping, maybe some sewing and then the Super Bowl. Hopefully it won't be a Super Bore.
