Good morning y'all. Hope y'all have a TREMENDOUS THURSDAY. Got home about 1:00PM. Took a short 3 mile detour on a side road, visited a state park that mom and dad loved to go picnicking. 0209221044_HDR.jpg

    Here is the drive thru...

After we left there, got a text from a friend, his grandad needed a load of wood. Got that done by about 5:00PM. 0209221706.jpg
Last day off today, gonna get the last 2 totes prepped for use. Maybe cut a small pile of beech and cherry up.

Morning All. Love the hair Midwinter Thanks for sharing part of your trip with us T.Jeff Veal I have never been over or seen a covered bridge as they don't exist in our area. The structural work is quite something with all those dowels/pegs.
Off to the last day of work this week. Payday tomorrow and other projects.

    Everyone have a great day.

Good afternoon all. Yesterday we hit 45* with partly cloudy skies skies. Today we got really cloudy skies and 36*. So getting much needed melting going on.
Got my new glasses and now need to get adjusted.
    Interesting color Molly.
    Have a good day.

    Good morning, folks.

Upper 20's and clear to start. Pushing 50 again. Lots of mud around from the snow and ice melt, while the ground is frozen.

A little of this-n-that today. Maybe, head out for lunch with Mrs MikeInMa.

    Be safe
    Be healthy

Good morning everyone! It may hit 50° today! I tried pumping the pool yesterday, but didn't get much water out. Hoping for more meltage today.
I need to get this out of my car, too.
Birch that is pretty far gone but burnable and dry. I'll use it for kindling. IMG_20220211_196.jpg
My husband is going to Maine today to see his brother, so I'll have the run of the place.
    Happy Friday!

Good morning y'all. Hope y'all have a FABULOUS FRIDAY. 29° this morning, warming up to upper 60's. Gonna split a little beech and cherry, then hope to get splitter moved...I know, I was gonna do that last week...:picard:...
Then I'm going to our neighbors, Miz Jean and Mike's, use the tractor to move their old A/C unit out of the yard.
My fun days are over, start back 7PM-7AM tonight.
    Be a blessing...pass it along...

Morning All. Chores to do today. It just might be a sunshiny day today. I wish it would dry a bit so I could go down and clean the garden out. It didn't get done last fall with all the rain we had.

    Everyone have a great day.

Good afternoon! 36ish and light rain all day before the temps drop for a cold weekend. I took the day off yesterday for my birthday and spend all of it outside except for a nap. I got a little wood cut while it was snowing. Made a pallet run to Harbor Freight as they had a new truck in. Took 2 trips so it was a good score. I also found a new place to grab IBC totes. Chemical company about 10 miles away. They had an empty cage out beside the plant (buried in snow). I stopped at the office to inquire and they said I was welcome to it. They may put more out since I'm interested (we'll see). So I prepped it and put in in line for firewood. Put down 6 pallets in the receiving yard for a large load of wood that is supposed to come today. If that happens, I'll have a little over a cord and a half of seasoned rounds to split. Should keep me busy for a bit. Have a God day!

Good morning good people. -5f and a little breezy here. Woke up and wondered what day it is before realizing it was Saturday. The stove and coffee are nice.

In about 4 hours the stove in the fish house out on the ice will be nice.
