    Evening All. Before I had a chance to post anything this morning we were up and out of the house for a trip down island. Weather is supposed to drop snow on us tonight so we decided to make the trip before it gets here. Roads were bare and dry so it was a good trip.

    Home now and it is slightly snowing off and on. We will see what we get tomorrow morning.

    Good morning, everyone.

    Another day above freezing. Heading up to mid-40's.

    An email was sent from the assisted living facility where mom and dad are. They have a resident that returned from the hospital, who tested positive for covid. That resident is being quarrantined. While not in lockdown, they are requesting limited visitations. We'll see how this develops.

    Good morning everyone! Sorry I skipped yesterday. You didn't miss much.
    Today we've got an old lady to take grocery shopping. Woohoo!
    Honestly, the gym is the high point of my day lately. It sucks you in, because the more you do, the more you are capable of doing, and the more endorphins you crave. The tricky part is getting a lap lane, because there are a lot of people in the same boat. pAxvcCz.png

    Good morning, y'all. Hope y'all have a TREMENDOUS THURSDAY. Unbelievable 69° outside, chance of rain today, possible bad storms across the south. My friends in Ala were under tornado warnings, last night.
    Got to help my friend, Voyne, with a project this morning. Then see what the weather does. We did get more logs hauled yesterday.

    So far I'm getting through this but not without some difficulty. A year ago yesterday I got my last kiss from a beautiful smiling girl. That morning we were a family again as our 2 sons were with us and Judy was in a good mood. Then shortly before noon she looked up at me and said, "Honey, I'm really getting tired and sleepy." We kissed, as we always did before sleep and I told her It was ok and that I would be right there by her side. She never woke up again. I held her hand the rest of the day then went home. Early the next morning I was by her side again. I could see she would not last long but again I held her hand all day and left her side only for a brief bathroom trip then right back. The boys gave us time alone. That night we lost her... And now the tears are still flowing...

    Morning All. Well all the hype is over and we got about 2 inches of snow. Temps have risen to just below freezing. We are supposed to get just above freezing today and then drop back down. I haven't checked yet but I think there was more snow dumped on the lower end of the island. Grocery shopping today and chores to do.

    I have another quilt project to finish. I started it about 30 years ago. I am enjoying digging out old projects and getting them finished. I did finish the Christmas present for Mom so now I have to get it to her.

    My deadline quilt I was working on got finished on time and I gave it to the recipient for her birthday. Here is a picture of it. She loves butterflies. I started these blocks back in the 80s when she was about 12 - years before I met her. God works in mysterious ways. It is perfect size for cuddling under while on the couch.
