Yes I did earlier, congratulations to you and her! This Dec. will be 36 for us. Wow, where did time go? I thought it would take longer to get this old!

Good afternoon all. Got the splitter back yesterday. Saturday Chaz dropped s few ash trees. Bucked them and moved them over here and then yesterday he split them and threw them in one of his bins. While he did that I watched the Bill's pull out a win. Got some beef stew in the crockpot cooking. Boy does it smell good. Have a good day all.

Good morning everyone! I've been making good progress with my oak. A few setbacks, hit metal once and needed a new chain, and flooded the new saw, so brought it back to the dealer and had them unflood it. Otherwise it's been a joy to use. Also I did this: IMG_20190909_41870.jpg
That's the dining room rug. I put spotlifter on the bad spots, and gave it a scrubbing. Of course it was too heavy to lift out of the pool, but the pump has just about drained the shallow end this morning. So I'll probably let it wick out and dry in the pool, and then hoist it out with my husband helping. Hot weather is coming back, so it will be good for oak drying, rug drying, and pool painting.
    Have a great day everyone!

You have been one busy lady. Hope you don't find anymore metal.

did they show you how to fix it if it happens again ? there are video's on how to unflood a saw ,if the damage to the chain was not horrible thats an easy fix to ,consider the stihl 2 in 1 tool ,it is very user friendly and a fresh dry spark plug is always good to have around ,lm glad to hear you are enjoying the new motorsagen

Good morning y'all. Hope y'all have a TERRIFIC TUESDAY. It's back to work for me tonight, so I guess I will split a little wood this morning, hopefully before it gets too hot, then nap under the A/C. This is one hot September down here, IMG_20190909_140248617.jpg
    Glad I don't bow hunt.
May y'all have a safe week.
Share a smile, lend a hand.
    GOD LOVES YOU AND ME

No, they didn't show me, just took it back in the shop.
Chain was toast, lost a few teeth. It was a big grown-in screw eye.

It is warm here also. Supposed to hit 90 today. Yesterday got close. After the bus route put a round bale in the pony barn for the wife to feed off of. (to feed the ponies and calves not for her consumption!). Going to try to finish oiling the floor in the stock trailer tonight and go to TSC to buy a couple of new splitting wedges. Can't seem to find the old ones so as soon as new ones show up the old ones will magically appear. Otherwise, mowing tomorrow night if not raining. Enjoy your day, it is the only time we get it!

Yes it is for this time of year. Had folks talking about the heat on the dove fields and football games.

I hope you can find some good wedges! I haven't been impressed with the one in stores. The best ones I have I got at flea markets.

Today and tomorrow weather will be mid to upper 70s. Trees are really starting to turn. So not ready to see what is coming down the road.
