Good morning! 34F and sunny, probably the nicest day we'll have for the rest of the year. I have a small pile of wood chips to spread in the wood receiving yard tonight followed by splitting a very small quantity of wood to empty what's left in 3 racks of rounds. That will open lots of room to bring more wood in, which I now need to locate. Have a God day!

Good morning y'all. Hope y'all have a TERRIFIC TUESDAY. It was 29° about 6AM. I took our pastor hunting this morning, had good luck. Saw 6, each of us had a doe down by 7:30. Been watching 3 more since then. After we get them to the processor, going to haul more logs...
I will start a new thread on that...

Thanks. We should have gone down the night before but with the snow predicted for that area today, we might not have gotten back.

Morning All. Up early as I am going to work this morning. Just below freezing so what do you do? Hide of course.

A few morning ago when we woke up to snow, someone didn't want to get out of bed.

Someone is rather spoiled now she is the only dog.

    Everyone have a great day.

    Good morning, folks.

A few degrees below freezing. Clear and dry.

A good day to bet back outside and deal with a few yard things. I have an empty compost bin that I'll fill up with leaves, some wood noodles with compost sprinkled in.

I'll also spread around some winterized lawn fertilizer.

Good morning everyone! I got my oak cut, and grilled some chicken and shrimp in the driveway yesterday. I'm going to pretend it's not winter for as long as I can.
Today my neighbor is coming back for another carload of oak. This time I'll get to see where she's stacking it, and make sure it's in a dry place.
A washing machine repairman is coming to replace the door gasket, which leaks. 300 something dollars but cheaper than a new washer. It's 10 year old Samsung and has been good up until this. tVcsf2P.jpeg
    Happy Wednesday!

Me too. Was up at 2:00. Got a few things done and even put a new gasket in firebox door as I was getting a little leakage. Not a lot but could notice it at times so with the warm weather it is a good time to do it as I had no fire in stove overnight.

Good morning, sister. It's nice that you were able to grill yesterday after wood cutting. Glad you had the weather for it. Your washer must be a front loader.
We had one for a few years, I liked it. The shaft bearings went out, under warranty. It was fixed, ran for awhile, went out again and ruines the shaft. That time the company totaled it like a car and gave us a check for about $600.
We have had a top loader since...
Here's some more ugly kitty pics for ya......
He was enjoying the buffet when we got in last night. I picked him up by his tail. He had a pretty winter coat...I turned him loose and then the cats chased him:rofl: :rofl:  1214211856.jpg

Good morning y'all. Hope y'all have a WONDERFUL WEDNESDAY. Going with a friend from work to haul more logs today. Going to carry him a load of the 3-8' log cut offs. He can handle those easier. Hope to take Miz Carol hunting this evening. We did get another big load yesterday afternoon.

Morning All. Just above freezing today. I don't think we are getting any precipitation today but you never know around here. Our next snow fall is predicted for Friday.
    Busy day today with work.

    Everyone have a great day.

Good morning! Occasional sprinkles but warm today. Wind is supposed to pick up substantially tonight before the cold returns. About to start an interview. Scored some free IBC totes on MP yesterday. I'll pick them up after work and unload in the processing center. He says he'll have more so this could be a pretty good deal. Have a God day.

    Good morning, everyone.

Woke up a bit early today. Sitting here listening to the rain. 52⁰ and warming to mid 60's. Rain should stop around daybreak.

I finished the chore of compost rotation, among the bins.

I'll be running a few errands today. Probably let the stove go cold and give it a good clean out.

Good morning... :coffee: ... The warm south wind has be replaced with a cool north wind. Sitting at 30F this morning, even started a fire this morning...

It looked like you got pretty warm out there! I hope you could enjoy some of it.

We got into the upper 50's yesterday then it was 60 when I got up an hour ago. The wind is almost a steady howl now. First it was just the gusts but now a constant howl. Probably it won't be long before the temperature starts dropping as I see it already in Wisconsin.

Good morning everyone! For Saturday they are forecasting 3-5 inches of snow. Last call for getting the yard arranged to my liking. All wood must be out of the driveway.
Today we have a little old lady to take to the grocery store. Between that, yard work, and swimming, the day will move right along.
Yesterday around the weight machines at the Y, a guy with a long white beard was checking me out. Nice to know I've still got it. 2GghjSw.jpeg
    Good day to you all.
