That cold front rolls through here, later this afternoon.

Just keeping a low fire in the woodstove to keep dampness at bay.

yep, that was the one. I had it in the basement, which I had just insulated and set up as a home office, 1200bps modem to dial in on. I still had my Garrison in the upstairs, which was a smoke dragon heat monster. Actually worked quite well as it was lined with soapstone, similar to the Absolute Steel and/or Ideal Steal of today, just no CAT or any secondary burn technology at all.

    Good morning, everyone.

Showers all day yesterday that got shoved along by a cold front. Clear and breezy to start the day. About 40⁰.

I'll move some wood and maybe some leaves.

    Stay safe
    Stay healthy

Good morning, brother. That front came through here last night. Got some rain and hard wind. We had to dodge a big limb down in the driveway when we came in.

Good morning y'all. Hope y'all have a SPECTACULAR SONDAY. I'm trying to be good this morning, ya know, with Christmas on the way...I'm cooking something different for breakfast...
    Amish Breakfast casserole.... 1212210716.jpg 1212210721_HDR.jpg
It has bacon, onions, 3 cheeses, eggs....
Here is the recipe...Amish Breakfast Casserole | Cooking Professionally
We were able to go get 2 of the oak trees yesterday. 1 was a small bushy water oak, the other was this nice red oak. It was heavy towards the building, but used wedge and tractor to drop in in the parking lot. This is behind the seafood restaurant we visit often, in fact, they gave us dinner last night......
18562.jpeg Got a big load from both trees. They kept a nice pile of smaller wood for campfires...some of the red oak is about ready to burn. It had several big limbs that had died out. 1211211302.jpg 1211211302_HDR.jpg
It will be busy today, got church this morning, then a community Christmas we may go too, Christmas Cantata tonight at church. Glad I'm off this weekend...
May the SPIRIT of CHRISTMAS LOVE fill each of us.
    GOD LOVES YOU AND ME

Morning All. About three inches of snow on the ground this morning. Yesterday was sunshine, sleet, snow and rain. I am suppose to go and get Mom today to take her down island tomorrow. Scenic wise it will be a gorgeous trip. I hope we have a high pressure set in and clear off the skies so we don't get more snow. All this snow now and it will be rain on Christmas. It usually goes that way.
So chores to do before I go see Mom. Grey Cup CFL final today so campinspecter will be busy watching that.

    Everyone have a great day.

It was good, Miz Carol said it was a bit salty. Could always replace the cottage cheese with ricotta.

Good afternoon. The wind and rain made their presence know yesterday. The west door of the barn managed to jump the track. Just a matter of lifting it up and putting it back on. Chaz has done it before. East door got blown somehow as it was caught on the cement floor. We also have a small shed on the property that has, well had, a window. The window got blown out. Probably won't be replaced. That's about all that Chaz so far.
Hopefully all are safe and just little headaches to deal with.
    Have a good day all.

Hi to everyone. We got wind and rain yesterday and just wind today. No damage that I no of. Hope Chaz can fix the doors so they stay on track better. Haven't seen much news in the last cople of days but I guess some didn't fair out to well. Hope all didn't get to much damage also.
