    Morning All. Wet and windy out there. I think we are in for a storm. I am heading out this morning to start four days of work at school. Seems a little odd but I like the job. We had a nice visit with Mom yesterday. campinspecter split a lot of kindling for her. I hope the rain we are getting isn't as bad as what the rest of the island got last weekend. They are hoping not to get anymore rain for a while but I think they are out of luck.

    Backwoods Savage, it is awesome being part of a wood stove install. In my case that includes stocking him with wood. But just knowing he'll be warm, not spending money he doesnt have on oil....just feels good to be a part of that!

    Ill continue following everyone's thanksgiving plans here.
    Im heading for upstate NY to fetch the spawn from school. Its been too long since we've seen him. Bringing the dog, both will be happy to see eachother. Will be about 7 hours drive.

    Hope everyone finds healing for the strife, past unforgiveness, bitterness that has accumulated in the recesses of the heart....He came to set the captives free. If we're not free, its not because He didnt set the provision, but because we have chosen not to walk in that provision.

    Good morning! 35F and sunny today, warming over the next few days. Need to rearrange the barn tonight so I can get most things in. There's probably another building in the future as this firewood stuff just means I need more toys. Also have some security cameras and a CO detector to install. Have a God day!

    Then we'll be visiting with my folks. I picked up a couple of under bed storage bins, for seasonal clothing.

    These clear nights around the full moon has let our temperature drop a bit more at night. We finally got in the teens. Usually this happens much earlier. Now a modest warmup before dropping again. Still not much snow in forecast. Some of the snow from what we woke up to yesterday is still here but only in the shady spots. But there was not much to start with.

    T.Jeff Veal you had asked about my doctor's apt yesterday. Now they want an MRI and EMG. They seem to be concerned about some nerves being pinched. It sure would be nice if they could fix my arm and hand but we'll see. They did not seem to happy that I will not have an MRI if I am awake but they did agree to it.

    I will be free at last by 7AM...get to be off 3 days, so I'm turning back my bathroom scales 15 lbs Wednesday night...:rofl: :lol::rofl: :lol:...
    It's low 30's and a North breeze, highs in the 50's. Got to get a mixed load of smoker wood and a load of oak/hickory firewood out today, another mixed load of firewood out tomorrow. I need about 3 of me and Miz Carol...lol...
