Good morning all. Opening day of deer season. Everyone got skunked yesterday. Chaz, my little brother and nephew are up on the hill hunting. Did hear a neighbor shooting yesterday. Don't know if they got one.

Good Sunday all.. I think I put of a DR visit as long as I can. Couldnt go and didnt care while Barbara was here.. Now that I have the truck inspected and the job done so I can go.. Have some things that havent been right for a while and cant sleep on my right side. I did get some sleep last night because I took 3 pills instead of 2.. ... Taking it easy with the cat napping next to me and thinking about making a chicken soup for supper and getting that plastic window film for my drafty windows. Hope you all have a great rest of the day. PS I really like having a kitten in the home.

Glad everyone had a good Sunday. I got home, ate breakfast and sitting on the couch...guess I was tired, didn't make it to church......woke up after 1PM...

Good chance of rain today as the cold front comes in, if it doesn't, got some rounds to split, try to get the good wood from them, seems the center is either punky or hollow
If it does rain, I have 3 chains soaking, need to be rinsed and put on the grinder. Then it will be nap time again...

Good morning everyone! Had fun with my grandson yesterday. He split some more birch with me. I'll see him again on Thursday for Thanksgiving at my house.
I still have to buy a turkey. Today, if I get a frozen one. I need to find some turkey backs and necks for broth for the gravy as well. I guess I'll do some shopping today.
