Good morning y'all. Hope y'all have a SUPER SATURDAY. Another night of work almost done, 3 more to go. We did make it back to town and got some totes. 1119211016.jpg

Got 8, all taller ones. They have about 5 more. 3 tall and 2 shorter ones. My cousin wants a couple, may pick them up for him Monday. They come from an oil distribution company. Had DEF or locomotive engine oil in them...
Got to figure out how to clean them if we use the bladders for tops.
Got more loads of wood to deliver, so I will be bucking and splitting this morning. Miz Carol has grandsons duty, parents are going Christmas shopping. Our company gave us an extra bonus this year, had a record year and got it done thru the CV-19 problems. Quite unexpected.
GOD has blessed this little company so much throughout the years...we have been in business and family owned about 75 yrs, I think.
Remember the GOLDEN RULE, let your light shine for JESUS.
    GOD LOVES YOU AND ME

Morning All. It looks grey and drizzly out there this morning. I haven't looked at the forecast for today. We got our flu shots yesterday. It is kind of neat that a lot of former students who graduated from the school I worked at are coming back after training and are working in our community and area. Former student was the one to give me the shot. She said that it was a little weird giving her former teachers and parents of friends their shots.

Daniel was taken away from everything he had known and plunked down in a strange world. His faithfulness to God is an inspiration to us all to have that same trust in our wonderful creator. Nebuchadnezzar's dream has the wonderful prophecy of the ages and still applies to us today.

“I thank You and praise You, O God of my fathers; You have given me wisdom and might, And have now made known to me what we asked of You, For You have made known to us the king’s demand.” Daniel 2:23

    Happy Sabbath everyone.

I came down with a nasty head cold. My neighbor apparently didn't get a deer yet, didn't hear any shooting this morning. Wife is decorating some Thanksgiving cookies (turkey cutouts). Called our pastor and told him I would not be in church tomorrow because of the cold I have. I was supposed to be the lector. I felt miserable last evening so I let the fire go out but got it going again this AM. Was 63 in the house. Taking it easy today.

Take care of yourself. I am glad you decided to stay home. Pushing yourself when you are not feeling well is a recipe for disaster.

Good evening! Sunny and cool today. Went to a model train show this morning and picked up a few things for my collection. Got an order for the smallest amount of wood I've delivered but if that's the customer wants, that's what he gets. Bucked up the last of some year old maple logs, about 1/4 face cord. Now grabbing some dinner. Have a God day![IMG]

    Good morning, everyone

Nice day ahead. Dry, cool, and clear.

Going to visit mom and dad today. After seeing them every day since they transitioned to assisted living, I gave myself the last two days, some time to myself. They are doing well, however.

    Stay safe
    Stay healthy

Good morning everyone! As is customary for a Sunday, my grandson is coming up. He's a lot easier to amuse now that he's older. He spends a lot of time reading Donald Duck comic books. tve19052-19550923-1183.jpg
    Have a fun Sunday!

I remember as a child I too amused myself with comic books. We used to be able to go once a month or every other month when mother went for groceries. There was a small market that sold books, magazines, newspapers and comic books; both new and used. We could take our old comics to trade so our meager $.25 could buy a lot. Us 3 boys would have to pool our money to come up with such a large amount... I remember I had favorites and Casper, the friendly ghost was one of them but I had several.

I too loved Archie but Lulu was not a favorite of mine.

One I remember but not the name, It was a pair of crows. Do you remember? Geeze, its probably been around 70 years ago...

Good morning. Nice day for a walk yesterday. Today it is going to get windy and colder.

We found a little broken ice along the south shore of one of our neighborhood lakes. Before long we will be out fishing on top.
