Good afternoon! Time to head home. I need to pick up my truck from the shop. It's been sunny and made it up to 46F today. Might get a few bundles made in the barn tonight. A guy messaged me for a load of maple today that I don't have. Told him I'd look through my inventory to see what's dry and ready to burn. Have a God day!

Good late afternoon.. Got my inspection sticker for my truck yesterday. Wont be riding around much with 10 mpg but im sure glad its done. The guy that did my sticker is going to look at my car in 2 weeks just to give me a idea on price to fix everything. It needs a lot..LOL.. Id like to be driving that most of the time when I dont need my truck. On top of that I really like to have back up with the two of them being old. ...On a note Im finally getting close to finishing my job.. The 8 bookcases are built . I have to make 32 shelfs and that will be it. The customer is going to paint them. The bookcases are and maple simple in stile with no molding.. I did get the next job yesterday so thats great. Its just 4 maple finished bookcases but glad to have it. >>>> Here is a picture of some firewood under the tarp. I traded my brother Frank some firewood for a bookcase I had. Havent had time to do anything with it. Here are also pictures of clamped up and finished bookcases.. Sorry so long.. PS.. I need some 2 ft clamps but never got around to getting them.. Have a great eve everyone..

    Pals No Kill Cat Shelter
This no-kill shelter is in Winthrop, ME. They have lots of adult cats up for adoption. An adult would be less work than a kitten. They take a lot of attention to raise.
You have to make an appointment to be approved to adopt. We'd love to go with you.

    Good morning, everyone.

Clear and dry today. 29⁰ to start.

Today is one of those days of great importance, that occurs once a year. Today, our septic system gets pumped out! It's a system on the small side. We get it pumped in mid-November, before snow is an issue.

    Stay safe
    Stay healthy

Good morning. My friend said this fawn didn’t move a muscle in the short time he was photographing it this past spring. Thought you all would enjoy it.

Could hardly believe how warm it was in the house overnight and I put very little wood in the stove. Looks like the temp got to mid 30's then started going up and 49 now. Might get to 60.

Good morning everyone! We had 27° this morning, headed to 47°. Tomorrow we get a one day warmup to 67, which will feel great!
This morning I'll swim at the Y, and work on wood later. I've burned enough shoulder season wood to have room for some reorganizing. eOTRu3l.jpeg
    Happy Wednesday!

I was after a cuppa coffee this morning, Dear Wife made me a pot last wednesday before I got the plague. I checked it before warming it up, and there was mold forming on top of the coffee!
    So much for that!
    Beautiful day here.
Stove fired up with a firestarter....no kindling.

Good morning y'all. Hope y'all have a WONDERFUL WEDNESDAY. It got down to about 37° early this morning, had to build a small fire about 5:00AM. A couple of :BrianK: people that live here,, fell asleep on the couch and recliner:picard:...woke up cold...
We have to go do yard work for our friends with the health issues, several things they want done. Maybe we can go hunting this afternoon.
Finally got the new cover and air bags, for the pool. Need to get the leaves out and shut down for the winter.
    GOD LOVES YOU AND ME
