Yes, it went well, he is home and not in pain. Eyedrops every two hours, and no driving for a few days. Eyepatch for now. And he gets to do it all over again on the other eye in a few weeks. Thanks for your prayers and kind thoughts.

Yes, cataract surgery and lens replacement. The eye seems to be recovering nicely, but he's suffering from internet withdrawal.

Good morning y'all. Hope y'all have a TERRIFIC TUESDAY. I'm still on my days off, so I guess we will go play at the wood pile again, trying to get the last rack full. Might rain today, just take it as it comes. If y'all get the chance, go see the movie " Overcomer", it is great.

Good morning everyone! Washed up on the shores of Wednesday. There is rain moving in, I'll spend the day getting things back to normal and driving my husband to work and back. After Lego (5 hours to build and 5 minutes playing with the end result, it's all about the process) I got him out into nature for awhile.

Good morning y'all. Hope y'all have a WONDERFUL WEDNESDAY. Had to bring our oldest grandson over to the big city to have his ear tubes redone and web on his tongue clipped, maybe that will help his speech. Shouldn't take too long, maybe be back home by lunchtime. I think the wood pile is calling....lol...got side tracked yesterday, had to go get something for my hunny, I'll post pics when it's delivered and then had to go pick up something for our pastor. I'll get a picture of that when I get home...

Poor little guy, he's in for quite a morning. I hope he does OK. Can he have some ice cream after the tongue thing?

 

Thanks, he did great. Had 2 stitches under his tongue. He's fussy right now from meds. Should be fine tomorrow

 

Wow, you all are quite busy, me, just my daily bus route and 6 different classes to teach then the bus route home, then chores, then mow, then sharpen a chain on the chainsaw, then supper with my bride and folks, then,,,,snooooooooooooooooooooze in my chair until I wake up and go to bed! Everyone make the most of today, it's the only time we get today.
