Good Morning... :coffee: ... Feel much better... Did the fire thing outside last night. Had a good supper and ended the night with some strawberry cobbler in the cast iron ... Taking today off and relaxing a bit. Closing down the pool this afternoon.

Good morning y'all. Hope y'all have a SPECTACULAR SUNDAY. Should be another beautiful day. Going to church this morning, then nap time, 2 more nights to work.
We did get about 8 rounds split and stacked in the trailer yesterday morning...got almost 2 1/2 rows from them. 5 more left from 2 logs to do. 15906.jpeg 15908.jpeg 0925211242_HDR.jpg

Good morning everyone! We had a fun Saturday with my grandson. It was a beautiful day... we picked tomatoes, split & stacked a little wood, rode bikes, and cooled off in the water. IMG_20210925_12884.jpg
    More tomato sauce to make.
    Have a good Sunday!

Morning all. A cool morning here at 47 degrees. Yesterday felt like fall all day with a high of 61 but sunny.

Some of you folks remember one of our neighbors, Jim. He has an adopted daughter who was born in Guatemala. Judy and I watched her grow into a nice young lady. She was home for the weekend and wanted to spend some time so her and I went to a restaurant for breakfast. Had a nice visit. It was good. btw, Jim also adopted a boy who was born in Brazil and we've enjoyed watching him grow into a fine young man. Good family.

That's great for you, Jim and the kids. I was one of the lucky ones to be adopted too, along with my 2 brothers and 2 sisters...

I've shocked and vacuumed, now I have to backwash, and drop the water level with the submersible pump.

Good afternoon. Started out at 47* and up to 60* now. Moved a bunch of wood into the barn. Still got more to move. This is wood we split last summer. Did put a big fan on it. We also have a bunch of rounds to move into the barn. Chaz has done almost all of it.
    Bills on later.
    Have a good day all.

Good evening! Sunny and a little warmer. Church this morning then some errands and a nap. Refilled the roadside firewood stand. Started cleanup of a downed tree and chipped most of the small branches until I jammed the chipper. Then split some rounds. Bedtime soon.

Morning all. Up at 2:00 this morning as I couldn't sleep. Might be a nap in the plans later on... Supposed to be summer again today but only for the day. May even hit 80. This doesn't happen often at this time of year but it is not unheard of.

We had a nice time at the cabin. Had lows in the upper 30s into Saturday morning so I build a nice fire in the stove to warm things up.

A full nights sleep was a blessing. No fires or accidents to attend to.
Helped a friend install a wood stove a few days ago, bringing wood over today. He's a pastor with CMA, heading for surgery this week. Want to get him set up before that procedure.

mat60 keepin ya in our prayers. There's a lot of good in front of ya. Asking for Him to love on you both, strengthen you both.

The written exam I've been studying for all these weeks, went very well. Again gave the young whippersnappers a run for their money.

    God is good.
