    Good morning, everyone.

70⁰ to start the day with 95% humidity. Heavy rains today, with area flood warnings. Yuk

The golf Ryder cup team competition starts today. Decent TV for a rainy day.

    Stay safe
    Stay healthy

It finally stopped raining. 48 degrees. Started a small fire in stove.

All over MI I see temps in 30's and 40's. Welcome fall.

Good morning everyone! Yesterday I used up a partial can of Thompson's water seal on the porch. I'll have to do the rest another day. It's been many years since the porch got a coat.
Basement work today, maybe I can make a donate pile, that would be nice.
My neighbor across the street had a surveyor in his yard yesterday. I don't think his lot is big enough to subdivide, if that's what he has in mind. KzmwTZW.jpg
    Happy Friday!

Brother, we are glad you joined in our little morning group. Just checking in makes me happy. I know caring for a loved one can be so stressful. We pray for your strength and patience and comfort for Miz Barbara. As Dennis said, wish there was some way we could help you. Mat GOD open some doors for you.

Yes different story for you. For us, we had absolutely "0" rain for 3.5 weeks before it so we really needed the moisture. We have been very dry since July.

Good morning y'all. Hope y'all have a FABULOUS FRIDAY. All good things must end, as in my days off...start 7PM-7AM tonight. It's a nice cool 50° here, blue skies. If my neighbor, Mike, is home, going over to do some brush mowing his mama wants done.
Miz Carol has baby sitting duty this morning, keeping Riley, the red head.
We got all the projects done for our friend, Voyne and Claire, yesterday.
I think WeldrDave would be really proud of this project... 0923211303.jpg
    Be kind, be encouraging.
    GOD LOVES YOU AND ME.
P.S. Please keep Claire in your thoughts today, she starts her first chemo treatments...

Happy Friday! Picked up 3 pallets on my way to work along with free maple from a MP post. I can mix it with the rest of the punky load I got a couple weeks ago to make it a little better and fill out another IBC tote. Hope to do some splitting tonight as the rain has finally moved on. Have a God day!

Morning all. Up early to hit the road. I think it is funny. We seem to be the only RV on the road until 10:30 AM and then we start seeing all sorts of them. Very quiet roads though at this time of year.

    Everyone have a great day.

Good afternoon. Mid 50s currently. Chaz took today off to do wood related stuff. Cleaned the porch off so we can start bringing wood down.
Not sure what else is on tap
    Have a great day all.

Finally cool enough this morning and nothing major on the HDL, i was able to get out behind the house and clean up a few dead and down elm. Cut them into length and used my dray to move them to the processing area. I had to drag and toss the wood down a hill thru a bunch of weeds. I got it all cut up this afternoon, and just in time cause rain is getting close. Cold front moved thru and dropped the temps 5 degrees in a couple hours.
DSC03856.JPG DSC03857.JPG I found a red oak snapped off further up the hill that will need my attention. I am hoping a friend of mine can get his goats here next Saturday to get rid of the greenery behind the house.

A little bit more wood for the pile. Will your friend steak the goats out.

Yes, he will stake them out. He thinks his 4 goats will clean up most of it in one day. That will save me a ton of work. I would cut it down with my Stihl fs110. If there is a way not to do that, I am all for it.

    Good morning, everyone.

Nice air outside this morning. Temps and dewpoint below 60. I stepped out on the deck with my coffee. Compared to the past few days, it was refreshing.

I hope to go for a walk this morning, then a few errands.

After day 1, US ahead in Ryder Cup, 6-2.

    Stay safe
    Stay healthy
