Good Morning, Brothers & Sisters Thread

Good morning everyone! I've been loving this weather, 70's, sunny, and low humidity. Just warm enough to hop in the pool after working outside. I am savoring these September swims.
The water is still 70°.
I've been chipping away at things, a little cutting, a little splitting, mowing the lawn. I found some honey locust limb wood at the dump Saturday.
I'm getting my seasonal flu shot this AM. I hope it's a good match for whatever's coming. They are worried about a double whammy hitting the hospitals this winter, flu and Covid patients.

Morning all. Another busy day getting packed up and ready to go. As it would happen around here every time, it poured rain every time I wanted to take something out to the RV. campinspecter was moving the RV to make sure we had it level while traveling and it opened up and poured. I still have stuff to take out to the RV and doing some last minute shopping. I hope it is drier today.

Good afternoon! Rain started at 5:30 this morning. Temps in the 70s all day. Rain supposed to continue on and off throughout the week. Need to make more firewood bundles tonight. My inventory is almost gone but roadside stand is stocked for now. We started fall decorations on the front porch last night and will probably finish that up. Have a God day!

Another fall-feeling day.

New washing machine was installed and ran fine.

I hope to do some splitting this morning. Time to use some unused muscles and do some bending/lifting.

Good morning brother...I got busy this morning, fixed cheese grits, scrambled eggs and sausage patties for us and our daughter/ grandsons, before the 4yr old went to preschool.

 

Hope its not too bad up there.

 

Good morning y'all. Hope y'all have a TERRIFIC TUESDAY. We started on the load of wood yesterday. Was a light sprinkle about 8:30, got heavier, we stayed until 10, got 1 row done, we were wet...came got some dry clothes, hung my hat in the sink
Had some other chores I could do. Sharpened 15 mower blades, put belt guards back on mower, and did some saw maintenance, swapped out a few chains, cleaned filters...and watched it rain ALL day...had 2.8" yesterday, over 6" in the past week.
Gonna try to find our raincoat and work on that load today...

Good morning everyone! I'm lagging behind this morning. No good excuse.
I did some cutting yesterday, poles that had laid under the big pine tree for about a year. It was pretty dry. Today I'll split some of it. I don't feel any imperative to save work for the winter. I'll just collect whatever the dump provides.
Brandon says that he hasn't been posting because when he gets on at 3A, the site is really slow from maintenance being done or something. I experienced that once too.
Well, I better get moving!
