Ahoy, ye mateys It's "Talk lIke a pirate day"!! Arrg...

    Coffee does taste good!

A line of thunder showers came through around 9:30, last night. Much drier air should be coming in this morning.

Going for my daily walk, and maybe deal with a few yard things. Then football. Go Pats!

Good morning everyone! It'll be a great day for yardwork. Before that, I've got tomato sauce to make.

    Have a great day!

    Thats a lot of maters!

We don't loose power often enough here. One of these days, we'll just pull the plug and see how we do.

Have a blessed sabbath, for those for which it is!!

Same here. Minimal power outages. And should we lose power, being on a state highway, the power is restored pretty quickly to get service back down the line and feeder lines to side streets.

That floor looks plenty smooth. I hope it doesn't get slippery.

Our power is scheduled to be out next Saturday night from midnight until 6:00 am.

Yet I am finding many folks who read it all wrong. Power company wrote from 12:00 am til 6:00 am and it seems people are thinking that means 12:00 noon. Guess they only see 12:00 or are thinking 11:59 am is just before 12:00 am. Hum...

Morning All. It was a very peaceful Sabbath yesterday with no power. Our area is serviced by only one transmission line and now the trees are bigger than the transmission poles, we are starting to get more outages. The lines were down over the only highway leaving this area so the road was closed too. Irony is that we have a scheduled outage for Oct.4 from 10:00 PM to 6:00 AM similar to Backwoods Savage. I wonder if it will still happen.

Busy day today packing to leave on Tuesday but I am going to find time to watch the Blue Jays win? again today.

    Everyone have a great day.

Actually it is still a little tacky from the sealant he put on. Being nice and smooth helps the chair roll nice. Lol

Good afternoon. Not to much going on. Bills game in a little while. My Hawkeyes won yesterday so hoping the Bills follow their example.
Looking at 10 day forecast. Highs in the mid 60s range except for one day. The high for that day is only 57. Burrr

We had a FL once, we really liked it until the bearings went out, warranty fixed it, then it broke down again, same problem, the insurance co totaled it like a car, sent us a check for about $650 or so. Bought a top loader then, lasted about 8-9 years, then got this Maytag. 0919212019_HDR.jpg

Good evening y'all. Glad everyone had a Splendid Sunday. We got everything done yesterday. Still have half the tree to get down. Got a big load of pecan logs. 0918211236.jpg

    Good morning, folks.

It's a fall feel this morning. Temps and dewpoint both 8n lower 50's. Feels refreshing. 67⁰ in the house.

I'll be doing a little perennial bed cleanup this morning. Then, 2 more doctors appointments for dad. A followup for an ear infection, and a followup to some fluid in his lungs.

Mrs MikeinMa will cover the installation of the new washing machine
