    Gratitudes for today:
    Got a rather lengthy research project and oral presentation done yesterday for firefighter 1. Mowed and weedwacked the lawn...first time in 3 weeks (there were elephants hiding in the taller grass). Re-covered the 7 cord stack. Taught the neighbor kiddo how to run the weedwacker (he followed me around the yard as I was working)....poor kid musta been bored out of his mind at home.

    Joys about today: opening up church before everyone gets there,,,which means I get time to slaughter a few tunes on their grand piano (worship to my fool hearts content). Then to WOLBI to pick up our dear child. I have a couple cord of splits to stack, he and I will make quick work of that.

    Blips on the radar for tomorrow: endoscopy tomorrow, minor work issues i have to address.

    God is good.

    Pinch off the tips of your tomato plant vines, as well as any blossoms, if you think new tomatoes won't ripen. That'll help the remaining unripe tomatoes to ripen.

    Morning all. Nice weather today. campinspecter has clothes out on the outside line this morning. Still dealing with a boiled water issue which is a pain. Blue Jays in rain delay so I am headed down to the sewing room. I just learnt how to Rip a CD to a flashdrive. No CD player in the new car. I still have cassettes that I haven't been able to play for years. I should buy a converter for them.

    MikeInMa great tip about the tomato plants. I snipped off the ends of the squash plants as it is getting late in the year to try and mature squash. I have a couple of bigger squash coming and lots of little ones. Beans are up about 10" so I don't know if I will have time to get anything off them. I think I have time for my last planting of peas to get a harvest.
