Good morning y'all. Hope y'all have a WONDERFUL WEDNESDAY. Road trip today. Taking the grapple back to the dealer, cylinder has always leaked down, won't hold pressure long, they will swap it out.

 

Morning All. Spectacular sunrise this morning. We may be brushed with a system with possible rain tomorrow and Friday. Road trip today. Woodsplitter is getting new wheel bearings and we are going to a SisterIL's 88th birthday party for dinner. Going to be a late night getting home. Really warm day yesterday so I didn't get out in the garden except to go and look at it and harvest some peas. Bean plants are coming really nice so I hope the slugs don't get them.

Happy Wednesday! Beautiful weather continues, getting into the low 80s today. I got a box fan hung in the barn last night. One more to go. I already have the outlets switched so I don't have to get a ladder to turn them on and off. Also got a new hitch mounted on the Gator. Now I won't have to worry about implements dragging the ground because the old one was bent (due to my seriously overloading it's capacity). Going to Verizon today. I dropped my tablet Sunday and the screen doesn't come on now. Got online and they sent a replacement. Unfortunately what they sent is barely bigger than a phone and several inches smaller than what I have. Considering I pay insurance every month, they're going to have to do better. Bible study tonight and that's about it for today. Have a God day!

Cooler weaher last few days. No firewood work last night. Think I over did the hand splitting on monday after work.
Hopefully get some stacking done tonight. Need to get on it, calling for hot, hot weather next week.

We got back about 6:30 or so this evening, had time to deliver the dump trailer of wood to the customer
We had some good sights today. While we were stopped for gas, this big truck pulled in with an army tank on it...
Then we stopped in another small town an visited a small distillery. Tried a few samples too, from peach brandy to corn moonshine...
We will try out the grapple tomorrow. They swapped out the cylinder, no problem

 

Same here. Got coffee early. Haven’t fished in 2 days….got the DT’s….

Good soggy morning, folks.

Showery to start. Rain is forecasted for most of the morning. Hasn't rained this week, so no complaints.

I'm meeting with assisted living people at my folks place so that they can assess the level of service needed. Just another step in the process.

This afternoon I take my folks for part 2 of their TB tests, part 1 involved injecting a liquid just under the skin of the forearm. Today is the "read" of that injection site.

Beautiful day in south central PA. Had to change tire on wife's cherokee, dropped off to get plugged. Now dragging feet to get to work. Hopefully do some splitting tonight and buck the last 3 logs of my current pile. Was hoping to finish last night but chain was pretty dull and having trouble cutting BL. Didn't feel like sharpening it.

Morning All. It's RA|INING Never thought I would be excited about rain coming down. We even went for our walk in the rain. I don't know if the entire island is getting rain but we are at least. Had a great trip yesterday and nice birthday party. Got home late last night. Shadow had to stay home by herself as it was going to be too hot for her in the vehicle and it was quite warm down there. She was glad to see us return.
Grocery shopping this morning and then over to Mom's to work on the archive program.
