    Had the burn this morning. It is just smoldering a bit now. Need to get backhoe on tractor and dig a hole to bury what did not burn; plastic, metals, glass, etc. Also hung a trail camera in case the scumbags come back with more trash.

    Just got back home from my brother's, in Maine.

    Just in time for a thunderstorm!!

    Traffic was lousy. Figuring we lost anout 90mins. Oh well. It wasn't 120mins. :thumbs:

    Good morning early risers!

    Got to catch up here with my coffee, then garden time…canning more dill beans, cucumber pickles, trimming the garlic and working a strawberry bed by mowing it down, a stiff raking to remove older crowns, then.a nice top layer of compost.

    Opened doors and windows to let cool air in a bit.
    Loaded gear (and studying a bit). Playing fire fighter for a few hours this morning (training). Will be interesting wearing a nice heavy quilt while working outside for a few hours. Can't wait to see how this aging vessel responds to that.

    Drinking water like a fish, and doing something else like a race horse since noon yesterday.

    Hoping to run the splitter for a few hours afterward. A nice relaxing finish to the day.

    Good morning everyone! No rain here yet! Been watching Brandon fishing again, he has a great camera on his phone, so pretty on the lake.
    The tomatoes really ripened up with two days of heat. IMG_20210717_41379.jpg
    Going to send my grandson into the jungle tomorrow to pick them.
    My husband wants to build a grape arbor along the back fence as a privacy screen. We have a Concord vine in the front of the house, and it's loaded with immature bunches.

    Morning all. Got my Cajun friends Wes and Rodney back on the road this morning. They had a blast for a few days. Bringing their wives back next time.
