I think today may end up as a lazy day. For some exercise I could go outdoor and just slap skeeters...

    Good morning, all

Nice start to the day. 60 and seasonally low humidity.

I'll be spending time out in the woodyard. Making room for the ash I've been collecting,

    Stay healthy

Good morning everyone! It's a cool, sunny morning. T.Jeff, you are lucky the moths didn't get into that hat!
Grandson today, it will be a good day for biking, not so much for swimming unless he's really determined. Another day of rain tomorrow. Too bad, we are driving up to Maine tomorrow to see family.
A few boards of siding are going soft on the back of the house, and a windowsill is rotten. Have to find a carpenter! I had a dream last night that a huge honeycomb of termites was blocking the window. q6ZQ3Vg.jpg
    See ya tomorrow!

Good Morning... :coffee: ... A teaser of a shower last evening... the line split up as it got near us... We might get the wrap around, not too promising looking... But the air is much better behind the front... Probably at least will mow grass today....

How long will you hang the garlic to cure? Mine isn't ready to hang up yet.

Morning all. Sun trying to break through the overcast. We are going firewood gathering. The alarm went off rather early but we reset it to a later time. I just hope it won't get too hot as we are going later than last time. This afternoon will be busy with shopping and meal making for tomorrow.

    Everyone have a great day.

It usually takes upward of 10 days give or take a few. I don’t count the days. I go by intuition, but in general it is sometime after the roots are dry.

Then save out some of the biggest and best for seed.

Good afternoon y'all. Hope y'all are having a SPLENDID SUNDAY. Mostly cloudy day here, might get another thunderboomer later. Clouds moving by. Finishing up my 72 hrs of days (7AM-7PM) today. Off tomorrow, we definitely need to cut wood and finish an order, that customer is leaving for out-of-state work by the end of the week. Then we have 3 more loads already ordered...
    Time to get :saw::axe::stacker::woodsign:
    Be a blessing.

    Good soggy morning, all.

I think I know what it's like to live in the pacific northwest. We have had rain 11 out of 12 days in July, including today. 6.5inches and counting for the month. Rain continues to be in the forecast for most of this week. No complaints, though. Better to have rain, than extended stretches of drought.

    Stay safe
    Stay healthy

Morning. Sitting at the non campfire at Camp Mack. Taking a 20 year old fellar fishing today. He saw us on TikTok and has fished around us. He really wants to learn. Have a great day.

You apparently are getting what we had; 11 straight days of rain. Now we have more mosquitoes than ever. Before this rain we basically had none. I got bit for the first time on July 6 and now it is a struggle to get in or out of a door without letting skeeters inside. Nasty to say the least.

Good morning everyone! Rainy again. We're not driving to Maine, my husband has a head cold.
Had a fun day yesterday though. My grandson & I had a swim, a bike ride, and a wood splitting session. Our stack so far: IMG_20210711_22385.jpg
Maybe my locust score will fill this rack.
    Have a decent Monday!
