    Good early morning, folks.

    I woke up, couldn't get back to sleep, and here I am.

    Another coolish, showery start to the day. I'm glad we had no real plans for the weekend. We're up to 2.5in of rain, since Thursday. Better than a downpour. Good, soaking rain.

    We had plans to attend a cookout, but the weather caused it to be pushed to tomorrow. So, we might take a ride to the Cape Cod Canal area, for seafood.

    I hope you can enjoy the 4th!

    Hopefully the rain gives us a break here today so everyone can get out and enjoy , multiple days of rain has had us in a holding pattern.
    Need to get some outside work done if possible; we'll have to wait and see on that .

    Good July 4th morning everyone! It'll be cloudy and in the 60's, but mostly dry. I've got my grandson today but we'll stay out of the pool I think.
    Brandon, looks like you'll get the wind and rain on Tuesday? Hope you don't lose power.

    Had a crazy thing happen this morning. A turkey was raising cane behind the house. Finally I went out to see and I no sooner that stepped off the porch when a bird flew out of a tree. I could not tell what kind of bird it was but think it was an owl. Turkey stopped screaming for a while then started back up. It did finally walk away so I guess it was okay.

    Good morning and happy 4th to you all. Had coffee early and working on washing close along with doing some more cleaning out of some base cabinets. Still raining here and I bet it messed up allot of plans this weekend. May watch a race on tv this afternoon. Glad we have two tv sets. Hope you all enjoy your day .

    Morning all. Thin overcast with blue skies lurking in the distance. Could be sunny all day today. Temps might be around 70 F. that will be nice. After our heat wave, it got really chilly around here. For me, the perfect summer would be rain at night and 70 to 72 F temps during the day. Probably will never happen so I will be watering the garden as long as it is dry out there.
    Our province is on fire in so many places and yet two households in our town have backyard fires. Duh!! I know the fire risk here may not be as high as other places but we just had a two week dry stretch with a heat wave. Lighting caused four small fires in our area. We are surrounded by forest. Okay, rant over.

    Wishing all of you south of the border a Happy 4th of July.
