Good morning everyone! Not as hot today, and maybe a thunderstorm this afternoon. Pool temp is 78°, almost like bathwater. I'd like to get the lawn mowed this morning before the rain. Really ready for this stretch of weather to end!
I'm eager for local sweet corn to start. Seems like it should be soon. There is a vegetable truck that parks down the road at the ice cream stand during the summer. Not there yet, they must be waiting for the heat to be done.

    Good morning

Still on vacation. Ocean water seems warmer and it's refreshing. Still no fish. Don't know what they want. Tossed every known type of bait at them, both natural and artifical. Oh well. Can't catch fish, at least I can catch a buzz.
    Cheers:drunk:

Good morning! Back at work after a few days off. A little cooler today but still very humid and intermittent rain. My SIL was moved out of ICU and into a regular room yesterday afternoon. We're not sure how long she'll be in the hospital but may get to come home this week. She has a major skull fracture but did sit up yesterday and ate a little. Your prayers are appreciated! I did a little mowing after we got back from the hospital last night but it was pretty wet so hopefully I'll get it finished today. My niece is staying with us until her mom gets better so we'll have plenty of entertainment.

Morning All. I know this is normal for most of you but we woke up to a thunder and sheet lighting storm at 3:00 AM. A bit of hail and lots of rain. The main storm lasted 45 mins. A bit of thunder later and again this morning. I have all the windows open to cool down the house.
Grocery shopping, gardening?, and bookkeeping on the list for today.

    Everyone have a great day.

Well MikeInMa, some wood did fall in my yard. I made an over-the-fence deal ($200) for the tree service to cut the top off a dying spruce.
    Now I've got a clean up job. IMG_20210630_11352.jpg IMG_20210630_49750.jpg IMG_20210630_1887.jpg IMG_20210630_14573.jpg

He left me a totem pole. We'll be able to take it down ourselves, someday. aviary-image-1625067060545.jpeg

Good morning everybody. Not quite as hot as yesterday. Did see 87 and had a thunderstorms roll through. Only up to 80 so far and muggy. Storms are predicted for later.
Glad you will have some wood for your grandson to split once dried, Molly.
    Have a great day all.
    Stay safe and stay healthy.

I wouldn't inflict spruce on him. Don't want to discourage the lad.

Morning. Got ran off the lake early yesterday by thunderstorms. 10 am. Caught 40 though. Same weather pattern today. Stay safe in the heat.

    Good morning, folks.

    Happy July Fool's Dsy!

Warm and muggy today. We had thunder storms come through, last night. Got some decent rains out of it.

I should be able to get my van back this morning.

I'm taking Dad to his Primary Care this afternoon, for a followup.

    Stay safe
    Stay healthy

Good morning everyone! It's pretty humid out, but it's 71°! Yesterday, before the storm, the pool temp reached a glorious 80°, now back down to 78°. It will crash over the next couple of days, with night temps in the 50's.
I've got a lot of cleanup outside to do, sweep the patio, vacuum the pool, and of course deal with the spruce brush. I'll do what I can (feel like doing) before the rain moves in again.
A couple of new ones today: IMG_20210701_3974.jpg IMG_20210701_15311.jpg
    Start July off right!
