Good morning everyone! Prayers for Barbara, and WinonaRail's SIL, hoping for the best for them. Brandon has all kinds of people wanting to fish with him, but it will mean the most to the veterans he's choosing.
Yeah, it's still hot, up to 95°. It's supposed to break on Thursday, with a chance of rain.
Yesterday I found some lumber cutoffs at the dump, enough to fill 5 milk crates. That will have to do for firewood hoarding until it cools down.
    First tomatoes! IMG_20210629_29652.jpg
    Have a good day.

Good morning everyone. Up at 530 for coffee before my day gets going. I must admit its hot in the house and Ill be glad when it cools down this weekend. Got power to my hutch for the oven along with other stuff yesterday. My hutch is unpainted so its not pretty but for now it works fine. Going to get more stuff done today before I make some supper this afternoon. I hope you all have a great day.

I know, hotter and muggier elsewhere. 72 is dew point. Too much for around here, however.

Good morning y'all. Hope y'all have a TERRIFIC TUESDAY. Enjoying a few days off. We got the splitters set up on a different shed, worked on some big post oak. My BIL was here to help, it got up in the 90's, HI was 108°. Yep, I was struggling, took a break and was ok. Was in the shade and had both fans running. 0628211115_HDR.jpg

4 rounds (6' of log) made all these sections. 0628211339.jpg
We got all those split and stacked and got another 6' (4 rounds) sectioned.
Going to town for a few items for support. Having some dead cow tonight. 0629210940.jpg
Need to pick up moulding to finish the house. Hope to split more roday6

Morning all. 10:00 AM and still no power. Generators are running all over town. Ours are being put to work. campinspecter has two loads of laundry done and hanging on the clothes line outside. I have a computer play on. The fridge is happy now. We might get power back by noon. Your guess is as good as mine. No power on the north island.

I am headed out to garden before it gets hot. This is our 5th day of extreme high temps. I think it will start cooling down tomorrow. High temp records are being set all over the province. We are in the cooler area.

    Everyone have a great day.

This morning started out like it was going to be a scorcher again but then the cold westerly winds that I complain about each summer showed up and temps stayed at 70 to 75 F. So much nicer. I will have to be a bit more grateful about the summer westerlies.

We had a brief downpour right before super. I didn't think it was all that much so I was surprised when I dumped out 1.2 inches. I think we are close to 8 inches since last Thursday. Grass is green.

Morning all. My partner has ran off to Biloxi with his wife for her birthday. Tells me to use his new $70k boat if I want. It doesn’t have 5 hours on it! He trusts me evidently. Sooooo…I’m taking another friend of ours since the bass haven’t been cooperating with him. It’s hot everywhere so stay hydrated my friends. Sunstroke will make you act like you’re from Kentucky.

    Good morning, all.

This hot muggyvweather can go away any day now.

We had a few showers, late yesterday. Some distant thunder. Same for later today.

The van is still in the shop. Waiting for ordered parts.

    Stay safe
    Stay healthy
