Good morning all. Been staying busy working on small stuff in the home.. I try not to say to much about Barbara but she needs more care as time goes on but I understand thats the way things go. I try to make the best of it and even though she has real bad spells more now.. Im not giving up. I been getting into cooking, steaming vegs and air frying. Enjoy doing this stuff and it helps. Today I cleaned of and removed the top part of a hutch so I can get the counter top oven over there. Gives me more room to work on the reg counter. Got to wire up a outlet for the oven now. I hope you all are having a good day.

Yes, it is unreal to be going through this. Now we are getting a pollution haze from Vancouver city which is 286 miles away. No strong westerly to keep it pushed south of us.

Morning all. Temps hit 95 again yesterday but the westerly sort of came up around dinner time and cooled things down for a bit. Then it got calm and warmed up again. We had to replace the clotheslines yesterday as campinspecter's load of wash came down with a broken line. Fortunately the wash was dry and the lawn was dry so nothing got dirty.
I went out to visit friends from where I was working before retirement so we had a great gab fest. Nice to be able to get together again.
Heading over to Mom's to cut lawns and work on an archive project she has for me. Our sea cruise will be nice. Sea temps around here haven't risen much so it would be really cold swimming especially with the air so warm.

    Everyone have a great day.

Good morning everybody. At 5:30 this morning it was 70*. Up to 85 now. Got a band of thunderstorms coming in around 1:30 and lasting till about 3:30.
Chaz said this morning that last night he was wondering why Holly wanted out so bad when he was cooking dinner. Holly at some point got another young ground hog. So that brings down the population by 2. Good girl Holly.
    Have a great day.
Stay safe and stay healthy .

I wish I had a solution for you for Barbara's care. It is hard to find affordable help, especially in a rural area. And when you can find help, your family member might not tolerate them.

I wish my cat could take groundhogs! We have a young dark brown one. Maybe I need a pet bobcat.

Good evening! Just getting caught up today. It's hot! Got up to about 95, heat index about 105. We're at a church conference so no chores at home. Did a little sightseeing this afternoon. Discovered Brookville Reservoir. Heading home tomorrow. My sister-in-law had a serious accident at work. We would appreciate your prayers for those inclined to do so. Thanks![IMG]

Whew! sitting here playing on the computer that is being powered by generator. Power went out about 3:30 PM. We were at Mom's at the time. Get home and find out that our community is off grid as well. We were told there was to be a planned outage on July 15 but there have been little outages all over the place. It will be interesting to know what the problem is.

Temps this afternoon were around 30 to 32 C rather 85 to 89 F. I think we get another day of heat and then start to cool down. The rest of the province won't be as lucky. It will be several more days for them.

Good morning. Brian from Camp Lejeune is coming back today, I think we ruined him. Another gentleman contacted me yesterday. He is a wounded warrior. Shot up pretty bad overseas and can barely walk. He wants to come fish with us. I think my partner is up for it. A double amputee contacted me from Tampa and wants some fish. Next time Tajer Ray is over he is gonna take him and his wife a cooler full. He said she will help clean them. Gotta go raid the worm farm, thankfully it’s on the table and I don’t have far to go…

Good on you for giving the wounded a change of scenery and an activity that can heal from within.

    Good morning, folks.

    Hot and muggy, again.

My van went in for some repairs yesterday. An extended warranty we bought with the van in 2012, is covering some front end sway bar and strut repairs. Also, a new radio. It might also cover an issue with the AC. Hoping it'll be ready for pickup this afternoon.

    Stay safe
    Stay healthy
