    Good morning, all.

Warm day today. We did get some rain last night. And, a few showers this morning. We are still about 4in below average for the year. More forecasted for the weekend.

Good morning. We are staying the 40s all day with wind and rain. Our son is on a canoe trip with some buddies in the BWCA near our cabin and it is 28f at this hour with lows below freezing at least the next two nights on the way. Lake trout fishing should be good for them.

Its 41 out there. Much cooler than it has been for a week. More rain tonight they say. We've had over 1 1/2" already.

Good morning everyone! The front that went over gave us about a quarter inch of rain, and today is sunny and cooler. The big job for me will be to mow the front and back yards, once the grass dries out. Have to vacuum the pool, too. And weeding. So, basically, doing the floors outside. IMG_20210527_35192.jpg
    Have a good one!

Happy Friday Eve! I actually made it here before noon... Doing orientation for a new employee at noon so that will take up a good part of the rest of the day. Carry on hoarders!

Good morning everybody. On the cool side today. Stsrted out at 47* and going in the 60s. Clear blue skies.
The Amish are done till Monday. Will probably finish up by next Wednesday.
Mowing needs to get done. But going to have to hold off. Ground is to wet.
    Have a great day all.

I'm going to have to cut with the grain next chance I get. We have pecan and black cherry in the area, but I don't have any on my property. They're both on my list now though!

Evening all. Long day that started early. Cricket had an early vet appointment down island. Very favorable report on her. Continuing with meds and special diet for a month and then another check in. We are feeding her about every two to three hours to get some weight back on her. She is loving the special diet she is on. Still on the pills that she doesn't like but bananas are back in favour so that works. Bananas have been in short supply at the grocery store so it is a toss up as to whether campinspecter or Cricket gets them.

    See you all tomorrow morning.

Morning all. Nice out. Forgot to tell ya....the other morning I hit a deer. Slammed on my brakes and it ran into the side and rolled down the bed of the truck. Put a nice dent in the door, added a few other beauty marks, and cracked the tail light. Had I sped up I woulda missed it. Oh well, plastic and steel, they make it every day. Have a great Friday.

    Good Morning,
Have a great safe Memorial Day weekend!
I hope the neighbors don’t have any outdoor events planned that my chainsaw noise will disturb.

    Good morning, everyone.

Nice day ahead. Cool and dry.

The lawn gets mowed this morning, ahead of rain tonight and over the weekend. Should be an inch or more. We can use the "more".

It is 37f here. The garden is not too happy, but should be okay. My wife and I are heading up north this weekend to get our garden in up there and meet up with our son and his group of 5 buddies who will be coming out of the BWCA today after a week in the park canoeing, camping and fishing. Can’t wait to cook a big meal for them and to hear their stories around the campfire.

The weather report looks pretty good for a bonfire...and no bugs with all the overnight freezing temperatures up there lately.

Good morning everyone! Lawn is mowed, weeds pulled, and pool is clean. The water got up to 70° yesterday, very swimmable. Unfortunately the water temp will plummet over the long weekend with air temps around 60°.
Too bad about the deer, Brandon! Did it run off?
Today it will be cool enough to make some firewood. rXAuXM9.jpg
    Happy Friday!
