Got another quote on having our bath remodel done...still high, but about 5K less than the first one. We will do the demo ourselves. Should talk to project manager next week sometime...
It was in the mid 40's again this morning... for this time of year down here. Headed up to upper 70's ...

Yes, ma'am. We got the house when the kids were little, made sure it was 3 bed/3bath house...lol

 

I played that game for a week when i remodeled my bathroom. Not only that, all my kitchen pipes were cut off at the same time.
I was off and decided one morning (after julie went to work) that i was gonna rip out the tub and replace it. Had to take the wall out into the kitchen to get the old cast iron tub out and put the new one-piece tub in. Then the floor was rotted. Then some floor joists needed fixed. Shoulda seen her face when she had to tip toe threw the back door and could see the basement.
Of course, that was after seeing the dumpster and porta john in the back yard...


She never knows what she's gonna find when she leaves and comes back...

 

Then, 2 days into the demo (thursday) the boss called and wanted me to go to work tomorrow. (Friday) .ummm...i just gutted my bathroom...

..how bout monday? He says...

 

Hope you can get to the floor joists from the cellar if needed and get a working bathroom soon.

Wish our cats had been watching Mr Bunny Tuesday afternoon.
They had something a bit more dangerous cornered. Miz Carol said, "what are the cats looking at" then she saw it......

Good morning. We had another funeral yesterday for my wife’s aunt. She was 87 and had a good life. The party back at the house was a good reunion with family that gathered from far and wide, and everyone left with a good feeling.

Fishing is on he agenda this morning. It is finally in the 50s close to dawn versus 30s and 40s.

Good morning everyone! We never did go to Portsmouth yesterday, my husband's friend bailed. But, we did go shopping and we got a new hose. The old one was kinked up bad and about to spring a leak.
I had a good day repotting plants.
A couple 80° days next week, and we need some more rain.
Have a relaxing Saturday!
