Just fired up the woodstove. Chasing away any damp chills inside.

Good morning y'all. Hope y'all have a MARVELOUS MONDAY. 1 more night to work, then I get my 3 days off, another guy decided to work the shift needing coverage...
Gonna pick up a couple Hardees biscuits for my hunny and me when I get off.
Then I hope to process some more pecan logs, so it can be ready later for our BBQ guy.

Good morning everyone! Raining, fine, letting up by 8A, even better! I need to make a dump run, and cut up some birch that's in the driveway.
Started a fire this morning, mostly for the cat, who is missing my husband, who is up in Maine.

Morning All. Overcast but no rain. I am heading over to Mom's today. I hope it stays dry so we can work in the garden. If not, there is an archive project we can work on. I think we are headed out for a walk this morning. It will be another busy day again. And people say there is nothing to do when you are retired? NOT!

Good afternoon! Seems like I don't get as much time on here as I'd like. It rained all day yesterday until later afternoon. Got at least 2", my front yard is now a very lovely pond. Unfortunately it will be dirt this summer after it dries up. Got a meeting after work with the church board to discuss land we're considering purchasing. Prayers appreciated that we make the right decision with the finances God leant to us. Hope to fill the bird feeders and move a few more wood chips before dark.

Good morning. It is 33f now and surely getting colder before dawn. Not the best weather for the apple blossoms and pollinators this spring. This is nature’s way. It looks like our trees will be putting a lot of their energy into wood production this season needed for bearing a large crop next year.
