Good Morning, Brothers & Sisters Thread

Morning All. Not raining but overcast. Getting ready for our walk. Mom did great yesterday with the tooth extraction. She feels so much better now. Just have to take time for healing. Cricket spent the night at the vet's. They think her liver is shutting down. She had major liver issues when she was about one year old and it took two years for her to get back to normal but there was damage. I guess at 12 years, the damage has caught up with her. We should find out more today.

40$ worth of plants, it adds up quick! Just a couple of tomato seedlings, pretty small, it's early yet. Last frost date here is May 1st.

Good afternoon all. Been in the kitchen cooking for the GTG. Took me longer than normal as my back decided to do some complaining. That project done. Chaz through a load in the wash and I got the dishwasher ready to go. Now time to start packing my clothes.
Well sounds like Alex is here along with his dad. Chaz is talking to his dad about the barn. Guess the Amish want to set the poles tomorrow but we aren't here tomorrow so I am waiting to see what happens

The vet phoned and said that Cricket was drinking water and was quite alert. She wasn't eating though and they were going to try a few things today to see if she would start. They are worried about stomach issues with the meds. Wait and see what they have to say tomorrow. It is really hard as she is three hours away but we wouldn't be allowed in to see her even if we were closer. The vet hospital is closed to fur baby parents. All consultations are done outside or by phone.

Thanks! This lake is really scenic. After I watch my videos I realize how much I tune out the wildlife while I’m out there. Incredibly diverse bird population.

 

I donate most of our fish to less fortunate people. I eat fish at least once a week also. Fresh is hard to beat.

 

Morning all. Coffee is spectacular. Rerigging a pole for my partner. Ordered another 1000 worms this morning. Gonna order some Altra walking shoes off Amazon this morning, my sister highly recommends them. Have a great day.

More showers this afternoon.

I brought the lawnmower out of hibernation, yesterday. It's a Crafstman walk-behind that is going on 20yrs. I changed the oil, gave it some gas. I gave 3 slow pulls, to get it woke up. The first hard pull and it started. That put a smile on my face.

I hope to pull the blade off and run a file over it, this morning.

This afternoon, we're taking delivery of new recliners that we bought for our anniversary, the other day.
