Good morning all! Cat seems better, is purring a little, but not eating or drinking, so back to the vet for subcutaneous fluids. I read the swollen node can make it painful to swallow.
Down to MA to pick up the grandson this morning. The pool will get a workout today. The water is up to 80°, 4° rise in one day.
I scrubbed my saw for awhile with steel wool. The other side is still rusty. I'll get it good enough to display.
One more day of this oppressive heat!

Good morning y'all. Hope y'all have a SPECTACULAR SONDAY. Another day on the job, get off @ 7 PM. Bucked up one of the big pecan logs and 3 cherry logs and got the older splitter set up. Got to get the smoker wood ready, customer gets his new smoker on the 27th. Worked about 30-40 minutes after work. I had sweat in places on JESUS knows about...lol...might get one of the fans set up at the splitter. My son and his family came by, so I called it quits to visit with them.
Hope y'all stay safe in the heatwave you are having, especially if you're not used to it.

Good morning all! Happy Monday! I always feel that way after the weekend. My grandson and I wore each other out yesterday. With a face mask on, he can swim underwater across the pool!
Just 80°'s today, with thunderstorms and an inch of rain in the PM. Maybe I can get the lawn mowed first.
The cat is almost back to her normal self, but sleeping more than usual.
I have yet to practice pulling a trailer. Not going to happen next weekend either, I have my grandson for 3 days! Pray for me. His parents are celebrating their 10 year anniversary with a trip to Montreal.

We did get the smoking wood ready late yesterday evening for our new customer. I even had some unexpected company while I was running the splitter. it must have needed a bit of salt...

Good morning everyone! Steady rain overnight, continuing until about 2 this afternoon. I got the front lawn mowed yesterday, the grass is still green and growing, not brown and dormant.
The thunder and winds went through Connecticut, I bet our active hoarders down that way will get a lot of new scores.
Looks like a clean the basement day for me. Oh well.

Good morning y'all. Hope y'all have a TERRIFIC TUESDAY. Another blue sky, hot day in GA. Still working the day side. Delivered the smokin wood last evening, had a great talk with the fellow. He has a ways to go with his foot healing. Went by and saw our son and family on the way home. He gave us 2 watermelons and a big bag of okra from his garden, so didn't make it to the wood pile, maybe this evening...

Another beautiful day in western Wisconsin. Overnight lows were in the 60's with low humidity. Highs this afternoon will be in the low 80's. Perfect weather to get some wood split this morning. Still working on some red oak rounds.
