Good morning! Mid 50s to start and going up to around 80*. This is April?! Had a f ew sprinkles last night but I sprayed about 10 gallons of weed killer anyway and then mowed a bit of the front yard that tends to grow faster than everything else. Now it all looks fairly even. Probably fill some bird feeders tonight, fix toilet and pack for our trip tomorrow.

 

I suppose central Florida is more dangerous than NH.

 

It's probably more a matter of peace of mind just in case something bad SHOULD happen. Kind of like insurance. I'm 52 and have only collected on a homeowners policy once (and only a few hundred dollars). But if my house burned down I'd be glad I bought the policy. If you don't have it when you need it, you're out of luck.

That analogy only works up to a point. Your insurance policy can't be stolen from you, and used against you ( or someone else).

 

When you are pulled over with loaded firearms in the car, do you have to let the LEO know about them? We don't here.

Good morning everyone! You know it's spring when your Chilean neighbor is back. We were wondering if he'd make it out, since the country locked down on April 5th.
There was a surveyor in the lot behind me yesterday. He said the rock wall along the property line seemed to be on my property, so it will stay. I'll have to make sure no bulldozer attacks it!
I'm making slow progress with the splitting.

Morning All. Got a few things done yesterday and started a new sewing project. Over the weekend, I finished another long time project and got it hung up. All it needed was the edging and a hanger. It is a tiny quilt of cross-stitching and quilting.

Got the part for the boiler that we have been waiting for so campinspecter will be busy this morning.
No walking as it is pouring rain.
Yesterday's hearing test went well. No significant hearing loss for my age. Now if only my memory would work better!

Home in one piece?

 

Yup made it home. Tried having a small fire out front last night with some punky type wood. No clue what kind. Pretty much just wanted to smolder. There was a light wind to fan it also.
Before leaving the hospital yesterday, had a pulmonary function test and a pet scan. So far they believe from the test they have already done, that I might have stage 1 lung cancer. It is in the left lung. The test yesterday is to look for more nodules.
Have not had any biopsy yet. I have to have two consults, one with pulmonary and one with oncology. I spoke with pulmonary this morning and she is going to work with oncology to get them the same day. This will happen in the next 2 wks..
From what Chaz was reading, depending on size, it could be being. So just have to have to wait and see.
So that is it for now.
