$ 4.99/lb?!? That happens?

 

It happens, at Market Basket, once or twice a summer, for live soft-shelled lobsters. They don't ship well, because of their fragile shells, so states close to where they are caught get a deal.
I hope it happens again this year. I've been hearing the lobsters are moving north, into Canadian waters.

Good morning y'all. Hope y'all have a TREMENDOUS THURSDAY. 1 more night to work and then a day off. Got to build a small box for M-I-L's little dog, she is having him put to rest tomorrow. Say a little prayer for her, she has had him for yrs. After building the box, might split some more wood.

Good morning! Sorry your MIL lost her little dog. I'm sure you will send him off well in your box.
We will have an oddball day, temps in the 70's with low humidity before the heat starts tomorrow. So you can bet I will be outside! Perfect day for some weeding, with the ground wet from the rain yesterday. And I doubt I can keep my hands off the bit of wood left to be split.
I should do something with this rubber, too. It's big, heavy, kind of dirty, and gets really hot in the sun. I have to cut it into manageable chunks, but it's hard to commit to sizes.
Anyway have a good day and stay cool!

Good Morning!! Here in the PNW we finally did get some rain. Started last night about 11, and its 4:35am right now, and its been misting most of the night. We needed that rain bad, our back yard was starting to crack open. Thank you GOD, for blessing us with this rain!! It'll keep the loggers working a little longer, and our yards a little greener!! By the way, on my weather station right now, it show's 68 degree's at this time, it might be off by 3 degree's or so. Still, its pretty warm out, felt good to go outside and have it coming down on me. By the way, you know what this means, the grass will start growing again, and i'll be able to use that new Honda mower!!! Can't wait, really enjoying it.

 

Wish we could get some rain at the house... several thunderboomers have come up, but went around us. We had .25 inch about a week ago and it's been 99-102° lately

 

The grass may stop growing, but the weeds dont!

 

Sorry for the loss. It always is hard to lose a beloved pet.
