Good morning. Just rolled back in and got done unloading.

Fishing was fun. It was nice being out on the ice in 60f by afternoon.

In the morning I jig fished while my buddy manned the minnow lines. Here is what ended up in my bucket.
Two of the perch are over 12".

The ice is pulling away from shore so we had to use a dock to get out on the solid ice.

One of 9 pike landed in the afternoon.

Now it time to put away the ice fishing gear and get ready for springtime.

A stellar end to the season! Do you do any fishing in the summer, from a boat?

Yes. I have two small fishing boats 11' and 14', and 2 canoes for our BWCA camping and fishing trips. We fish open water from shortly after ice out, until the end August. Then it is time to get ready for our hunting seasons.

Good afternoon all. Interesting dream Molly. I never rolled out of bed till a little after 9. Just one of those mornings. It felt good to just lay there.
Been chatting with son this morning. His front yard got a foot and back yard got two. Has a pretty sweet deal. He lives in a cul de sac. They bought a snowblower and he uses it. Guess he takes care of most of the sidewalk and takes care of a few neighbors driveways along with his own. Stated a couple of neighbors are retired and originally from Iowa. It suppose to snow for another 12 hours.
    Have a great day all.
    Stay safe and stay healthy.

That pic reminds me of when I brought in a service monitor from work to my sons grade school class. They all got to 'see' what their teacher said.

I was working for a Motorola service shop, servicing two way radios. I had the teacher speak into a walkie-talkie and let the kids look at the weird wave forms on the scope, hence, 'seeing' what the teacher was saying.

Morning. I slept in a little, coffee is still great. The oak pollen is off the chart here. Luckily my allergies have subsided over the years (read...”as I got old”)...

Good morning, buddy. Glad your allergies have gotten better. Our oldest daughter was highly allergic to oak pollen and Bahia grass when she was a teen. She's better now too.
    What you doing today?

Thanks, I suffered for many years when I was young.

Good chilly morning, everyone. Mid-teens and windy.

Coffee is hitting the spot. With a slice of Irish soda bread.

I'll probably layer up and bring wood to the deck. Time will tell beyond that.
