Good morning everyone! It'll be another hot one. This morning my husband wants to sharpen saw chains, woohoo! He'll set up in the garage, and I'll move wood in the driveway, before it gets too hot. Bringing the RAV4 in to get the trailer hitch installed too. Also, I'm gradually replacing all my old tarps with rubber on my stacks. It will be great to not worry about degrading leaky tarps anymore.
Have a great day everyone, hope you have it off!

Something we used for years to cover our stacks was reclaimed corrugated metal roofing from old barns. It’s very cheap and lasts forever. I’m glad you are making your life easier with the rubber. Splitter next?

I have some salvaged corrugated roofing too, I need to roll it into the mix. I think a trailer might be next. I'll experiment with rentals first. The week of August 15, I need to rent or own! Have to tread lightly, because if it's a kit, I would have to get my husband to build it.

Good morning y'all. Hope y'all have a FABULOUS FRIDAY. My long week of days off is over. Go back to work tonight. Need to get a few more logs out to finish another rack, making a little progress on filling all the sheds. Y'all have a blessed and wonderful day. Be encouraging, help those in need. GOD LOVES YOU.

    Always a good thing.

    Morning everyone :coffee:

Up late last night, up late this morning.

Gonna be another hot one today.

Gonna have to look at the riding mower, for some reason it stopped all forward momentum.

Looked underneath and it appears the drive belt is not getting tension.

Towed it down to the driveway, will have to drop the deck and investigate.

I ought to do myself a favor and just pull the engine and put it in our old rider.

Hope everyone has a great day.
    :)

    Lawnmower fixed.

The drive belt jumped a pulley for some reason.

All the pulleys are solid, not much give, and spin freely.

Dunno, just hope it stays on, dropping the deck on that thing is a pain in the arse.

Good morning everyone! We get the thunderstorms this afternoon. Hitch on my car never got done yesterday, the service dept. was in the weeds so they're finishing it this AM. First they said it was a 2-3 hour job, then it turned into a 4-5 hour job? It's the dealership so I hope they know what they are doing.
We're driving to the coast to meet one of my husband's internet friends, I bet they won't be as cool as you all are!
Otherwise taking it easy, I got a lot done yesterday with many dips in the pool. A couple stacks left to cover but that's it.
    Have a great Saturday!

    Morning everyone :coffee:

Nice out so far, only 74°, but we're likely to get showers/thunderstorms off and on all day.

Hope everyone has a great day :)
