I have to make room to bring home some wood from WeldrDave's land in August.
I'll kick myself if I don't. I'll probably rent a truck, or a cargo van and trailer, or something.

Don't forget uhaul. Pick it up out at weldrdave and return it locally when you get home. Might be a little cheaper.

Good morning y'all. Hope y'all have a TERRIFIC TUESDAY. Gonna be a long hot day for us. We have 2 yards to cut and trim up bushes. Maybe we can get to the wood yard this evening. Remember to live by the GOLDEN RULE..

Good morning everyone. I started on a new master plan for wood storage yesterday. I had some redwood fence sections stacked up in the back, saved from when we replaced them with chain link a few years back. They were just taking up real estate, so I cut them into thirds. IMG_20190702_57582.jpg I will use them as pallets to stack on back there, with cinder blocks underneath. I can throw the locust limb wood on them, to get it off the patio. IMG_20190702_6942.jpg
Various other shuffling strategies occured to me in the middle of the night. I also want to pull off old tarps and replace with rubber, ideally with some flat support like boards under the rubber, to make it more like a roof instead of a shower curtain. If I'm going to bring more wood home in August I've got to prepare. So much from taking the summer off from firewood. My secret weapon is 70° pool water!
    Have a great day everyone.

Good morning everyone! I lost count of how many times I went in the pool yesterday. The water temp is up to 72°. I was able to work all day, and got a lot done.
This morning, some more wood moving, and later, I pick up my grandson at the Y camp. They have an outdoor pool, so I bet he's been swimming too.
I broke the news to my husband about getting a trailer hitch, and he thinks I need to throttle back on the wood hoarding. He said at some point it gets unhealthy.
    Have a great day!

Good morning y'all. Hope y'all have a WONDERFUL WEDNESDAY. Going to help my cousin clean out a storage unit, and then maybe I can get more wood split. Kinda tired from grass cutting yesterday, but I think we recovered...
Let your LIGHT SHINE for JESUS.

He's got a buddy at work who buys 3 cords "seasoned" wood in the spring, stacks it in his gravel floor car cave under the house (old Victorian), and burns it in winter. I don't try and argue. So there's that influence going on.

Good morning y'all. Hope y'all have a TREMENDOUS THURSDAY, FOURTH OF JULY. Be safe today. Guess we are gonna hang out around the house. Might finish up a few rounds. Gonna eat some BBQ and Stew, go swimming and enjoy some family time.
Remember your blessings, help those in need. Be the hands and feet of JESUS.

Good morning and happy 4th everyone! It's hot already so we're staying by the pool. Blew up a new truck innertube for the grandson, who is coming with parents to swim. Cute pictures promised. Have a great holiday!

Afternoon all. Happy 4th of July. Be safe all. Just waiting for mother nature to get over her hissie fit. Also for Chaz to get more gas. Give it a little time to dry out and go work on mowing. It looks like she is almost done. Have a fun day all.
