Good morning everyone! No grandson today, but we have various projects going on. My husband is rearranging his basement work area, and I may take a drive to offload some elm.

There is a bitter wind today with temps in the 20's, so I doubt I'll do anything outside. Good day for burning, though, don't have to worry about overheating the house! ZZs5iaE.jpg
Good luck fishing, and have a great day!

Morning All. We have snow!!! Just a skiff and temps hovering around freezing so it may all go away later today and turn to rain. We went for a walk yesterday morning and the "kids" wore their new suits. I have to take Cricket's apart and fix the back legs. She managed to get her back legs out of the suit for our walk.

No walk this morning. Football and sewing on the agenda for today. I have been watching doll house and furniture construction videos. It is really temping to get into another craft but right now I have a lot going. This retirement gig is busy.

    Everyone have a great day.

Yes, they are fine. We're fine too, we both got tested on Friday because of cases at my husband's job, but we both came up negative.

Good morning y'all. Hope y'all have a SPLENDID SUNDAY. Working 7AM-7PM again, so no church for me, I might be able to watch our FB Live feed though. Football will be on when I get home. Miz Carol is a bigger fan than me...lol
This is a day that the LORD has made. I WILL REJOICE and be GLAD in it.

Well... My gift card is still fully loaded but I did come away with a few ideas to research.

And.....because it was a buck off, I got a gallon of bar oil to put on the shelf.

    Ugh , Monday already.
Short weekend for me , it was cold and windy all weekend so that made it tough to get things done.
Off for second cup of coffee now to try and wake up.
    Have a great day.

    Good morning, all.

    Mid-teens to start the day.

I'll be topping off my deck rack this morning.

I borrowed a small air compressor from a friend. I expect to use it to clean accumulated gunk off my saws. J haven't used one before, so it'll be nice to try it before buying one of my own.

    Stay safe
    Stay healthy.

An air compressor works great. I have gotten in the habit of when I am done cutting I take a minute and blow off the saw before I put it away.
Probably a little overkill or maybe my OCD issue? ( at least that's what the Mrs. says ; LOL ) But saws are still in great shape.
Every once and a while I pull the side cover off and get the clutch drum area and pop the hood and make sure it gets a good cleaning under there as well.

A couple tips, let it pump all the way up first and use it in short bursts. I have the 6 gal pancake compressor, they make good pressure, but low volume. It will work though.
Make sure to wear safety glasses. That gunk goes every direction.
