I've been putting the chunks behind the stove to dry out quick, and he throws "his" wood into the fire.

 

That's cool. Helps to keep him motivated. Does he do that as soon as he gets there?

 

No, we have a routine. He likes to devise a schedule for the day. Feeding the stove comes after swinging in the hammock.

Good morning everyone , Coffee time before work quick.
Working two jobs today so it's going to be a long one. Hope to be able to take it slow at the first one since I know that I can't do that at job #2.
That's OK though , #2 pays for my toys so can't complain.

Good morning everyone! I never got off the reservation yesterday, was having too much fun in the yard, and the dump was closed. Looking forward to more splitting today, plus the errands that never got done.
We are in for some colder temps, but no snow until maybe next week. Before that, I want to move some dry black locust stick and limb wood closer to the bulkhead. Tired of looking at it, need to burn it up.

Good morning y'all. Hope y'all have a TERRIFIC TUESDAY. Got 1 more night to work, fill-in shift tonight so OT...
Like buzz-saw got to start on my second job of the day after breakfast. We have to C/S/S/D before 1:00PM so I'll be able to get map before work. Probably cut some small hickory and bigger oak that we cut early summer, bark is coming off it, he knows it won't be dry like the other load they got.
We did get the trailer delivered yesterday morning.

Morning All. Yesterday turned out gorgeous in the morning but fog settled in for the afternoon. campinspecter got the patio door trued up, insulated and the trim put back on. We took all the debris from the packing to the dump along with recyclables that aren't picked up at the curbside. Project for today is to bust up the concrete sill going into the boiler room. It is going to be a messy, noisy day.

Good afternoon everybody. Yesterday and this morning we got a little over 3" of the light stuff. Chaz is off today so he plowed the end of the driveway and by the mail box. More is on it's way yet this week.

a bit chilly but will be 75 today....75-80 for the next 10 days.

We had a quick, half inch of snow yesterday, right at sundown. Big flakes piled up quickly. More snow showers/flurries this morning.

I'm in the process of redoing some racks. I need to make them more level. The weather will determine if I get to play with them today, or not.
