Good morning everyone! Feeling a little more clarity today. I can't help but be emotional about it.
Anyway, I got some oak split. Today I'll split the last of the rounds that were in front of the woodshed. I work best under a deadline, and it sounds likely that the polar vortex will swing around and bite us in a couple weeks. Not making any firewood in that! Just carrying it into the basement is bad enough. Speaking of which, I want to do that in preparation as well.

It's a matter of when, not if!
    Have a great Friday everyone!

Morning All. Pretty windy last night. Garbage cans and a few containers were tossed around the yard. Could be rain this morning. Working with a friend on our Church children packages today. Got a dog snowsuit finished yesterday and another one cut out. Finished knitting a baby blanket as well. Projects are on the move. Problem is, I have many more lined up to go.

    Everyone have a great day.

I did. It was mid-20's. No wind. Low 40's here now. Full sun helps to heat the place.

Thanks for the well wishes, guys. I have a week's worth of meds. I've had some nasty sinus junk for a couple weeks, so I guess it finally jumped on me.

Good morning everyone! I bit the bullet yesterday and tackled some elm. I needed it to make a bookend for my black birch/maple stack. It wasn't fun, but I noodled and wedged it into submission. Looking forward to easier splitting today.
We have the fattest squirrels on the block! They eat all the sunflower seeds out of the bird seed mix. If they run out, they sit in the bush outside the picture window, and swish their tails at me.
Jeff, I hope you are getting better! Take good care of yourself. vXugU4Y.jpg Have a fun Saturday!

Good morning! Not much going on here today. Was determined to get up and take down the Christmas tree that I wanted to last week.
Julie and I go thru this every year. She wants to keep it up until after the first. So as usual I put my foot down and let her know tomorrow
the tree is coming down. lol
    Have a great day everyone!
Hope you get to feeling better T. Jeff

Good morning. Sitting and watching the fire in the new stove. It feels good. My wife's mother in hospice is stable now, but dependent on us for most of her care. The in-home hospice nurse comes twice a day to help out as well.
