The ramp looks great! He will appreciate the freedom it gives him.

Good morning everyone! Yesterday I brought the last of the cherry stack into the basement, and cleaned up the spot where it had been. I'll be glad when the cherry is all burned up, I'm not that fond of it. Just meh as far as heating goes, and smokes a lot in an all-cherry load, even though it's dry. I've been burning it on top of oak.
Anyway, now I've got an empty spot for the ash, black birch, and sugar maple I got at WeldrDave's last summer. Next splitting project!
More work outside today, before the rain that's supposed to be coming over New Years. yO1aU4W.jpg
    Have a good Wednesday!

He's 78 and was still working nearly every day, he was doing a big tile floor job when he found out he was sick in March, now he can't drive, barely can pick his feet up when he walks, stumbles and falls easily and his mind isn't right like it was. I just hope he can get to the car better now for his Dr appts.

Cherry smells good when it's burning though.

Good morning y'all. Hope y'all have a WONDERFUL WEDNESDAY. Another nite down, couple more to go. Got a trailer load of 15-16" oak to deliver thus morning. They ordered it last winter, we cut in in January, I think. It will be put in their shed for later, still burning on load from last year. Measured out to be .8 cord, then maybe get home in time to crank up the splitter.
Y'all say a little prayer for our daughter and her family. The Cov19 has invaded their house, symptoms not severe right now, her husband had worse symptoms, but tested negative, she is +...they have 2 boys, almost 4 yrs and 9 months...and we can't do much for them...
GOD is in control, HE Loves us and won't leave us.

Sorry to hear that, Jeff! I hope they all have an easy time of it. Stay well away for awhile, we don't need you & Carol sick.

Thanks, it's really hard on Miz Carol, it's our daughter at the end of the road, and those boys are the ones she sees all the time. But she knows we don't need it, we both are diabetic. And my job would really be in a bind. We have 1 guy out hurt, had another guy trained as a relief if needed and he is out with the virus...:hair::hair:...if another 1 of us goes down, it will be 2 guys working 12hr shifts, 7 days a week...

Don't take any chances. That new strain is in the US, 50% more contagious.
