Good morning everyone! We punted on snow removal yesterday, so this morning we'll get busy. I was worn out yesterday anyway.
We're going through a lot of birdseed! We feed them in the front and back of the house. The squirrels get their share, too. And no doubt mice, which make their way into the basement, and provide the kitty with amusement. Good thing we don't have bears or alligators, I'd be feeding them too. What's your temps up there? You've been out this morning already blowing snow?

    22f here. Calm.

I haven’t gone outside yet. J may fire up the snowblower again. But. It won't be used much. I need to scrape up packed snow, if it'll move. Probably spread a bit of ice melt here n there.

Gearing up to play in the snow!

Good morning y'all. Hope y'all have a FABULOUS FRIDAY. We have to deliver a couple loads of oak and cut and deliver a load of hickory. The hickory is green, I know, he is going to add a few pieces to some oak to roast some oysters New Year's Eve. The rest will have time to dry for next year. It's a nice 24° down here this morning. And I get to start nite shift again tonight. Got 6 of these to work.
Lend a hand, share a smile, be encouraging.
    GOD LOVES YOU AND ME

I've never burned any apple, so if it's any prettier than the blue flames on this oak last night, I guess I'll have to buy a bag of smoking chunks to put on there. 1218200040_HDR.jpg

Morning sir. Cold front and my fingers hurt to type. Pork roast in the crock pot. There is an 80 year old lady named Diane that I take food to sometimes. She reciprocates with pies and cakes. Lard crust on the pies. She is making the mashed taters for today’s meal. I told her I might do lobster or prime rib for New Year.

A few more for Brandon Scott

The rows are about 42in wide. 1.5 times the width of the 28in snowblower.

Morning All. Pouring rain and windy again today. Sun came out briefly yesterday afternoon. Church duties this morning to get our Children's home packages ready for tomorrow.

    Everyone have a great day.

Ha. One did slow down and swung out a bit, when I was shoveling around the mailbox. I saw a wall of slush headed my way. I made a dash up the stairs, away from the road.

I waved once I saw what he did.

Good morning. Heading out on the ice with portables this morning. My spearing buddy checked on our lake yesterday and found at least 4" of good ice. It is late this year. Targeting the 30th to pull the permanent house out with the quad after a few mornings predicted to be at around zero. Usually it is out by the 10th or so.
