Good morning all.

I'm hoping to split some wood this morning. It'll be the red oak rounds ingot from my SIL. I won't stack them until the snow is gone from where I want to stack them. Another day or two.

I met with the insurance appraiser yesterday at my folks, I got positive vibes from him. We'll see. It's still very early in the process. I did manage to get the car out from under the deck.

Good morning everyone! I hope to split some oak today as well. The snow slid off the garage roof, so I've got a shoveling project too. It's supposed to get up in the 40's, which will be nice.
We haven't had much sun the last few days. I'm ready for a day outside! Have a fun day!

 

Thanks brother. Went by her house to get her mail...felt so strange not seeing her there, but we just couldn't see about her anymore, I still feel like I let her down...

I can relate to the picture, been some beautiful cool days this week, I'm stuck on 7AM-7PM shift...33° low this morning, supposed to get high 60's.
I need to split some hickory. We will have 2 of the grandboys tonight. Maybe in the morning before we deliver another load of wood.

 

Nice weather down there, it's a shame to be trapped indoors.

Good afternoon everybody. Low 30s and cloudy. My little brother came up this morning to do some hunting. Got a doe and budding buck. Didn't realize it was a buck till he went to field dress it.

Morning All Had a productive day yesterday. We tried out the fire starters we made. A little difficult to use in our boiler but I think they will work great for Mom.
Sewing projects to finish up and make some more fire starters today.
Nice walk this morning before the rain starts.
