    Good rainy morning.

It'll be an inside day, today. Up to 2 inches of needed rain.

What will be interesting, will be snow later. Anywhere from just some, to over a foot.

    Stay safe
    Stay healthy

Like the pets? You monster! images (10).jpeg
Watch out for the giant pythons! The Everglades sound like a lot of fun. Tell us about your adventure when you get back.

Good Morning. I was ready for a day off from work. Our ice fishing season has been delayed due to weather, but we are slowing building more and more ice each day...now just waiting for enough uniform solid ice to get the quad and spear house out on my local lake.

Good morning everyone! My right arm is a little sore today, but that seems to be the only consequence of all my cutting and hauling yesterday. It just started raining here. The forecast keeps changing, but I'll stay in and rest today. All three saws need cleaning, so that's something to do. IMG_20201204_3585.jpg
    Stay safe and dry today!

Good morning. Another waking up for no reason at 04:30. that means a nap around 10:00 Found an overnight dusting of snow, which looks nice in the moonlight.

I have a few 8 to 10 inch trees to cut up fast first
Light. Most are blow down after being girdled a in a harvest area. Latest big winds and time since the girdling brought em down. I like to runs those straight to the woodshed to delay a full refill from the stacks.

Everyone make it a productive day!

Midwinter , I like your hammer for driving the wedges. You ever play “Thor”. When alone in the woods?

That thing is a lifesaver! All you pros no doubt have your tricks for avoiding pinched bars, but I bang in a wedge constantly!

Those deadblow hammers are nice. They don't beat up the wedges. I have a couple of those hammers.

An EGO battery saw. Great for quick cuts and small wood on a sawbuck, just pick it up cut, and put it down again. But I have cut big oak rounds with it as well. IMG_20190209_36823.jpg

Good morning y'all. Hope y'all have a SUPER SATURDAY. I stayed up about 28 hrs...didnt have any problems sleeping last night...lol. It was a great day. O went to my son's FIL house first, got those pavers cut. I had gotten some new turbo diamond wheels for my angle grinder. Sliced right through them. Then went down the road to our friends, The Nelson's. Je found out in March that he had cancer. We got the odd jobs done for them, then spent the afternoon and evening visiting, he even wanted to go out to eat. We took him to a seafood place. His wife said he ate more than he has in a long time.
Today we are taking my son and family to go get their Christmas tree. Maybe split some hickory this evening.

Morning All. Looks like we get sunshine today. Hoping to get in a walk after breakfast and before Church. My children's story today is the start of the Christmas story for Dec.

For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life John 3:16

    Happy Sabbath everyone.

    Be thankful you didn’t.....

    drove 4 hours...

all ramps closed and locked due to high water in the Everglades.....

    drove 4 hours home...

I might be wrong but if the water is high wouldn’t you want to be in a boat?

the guy that we followed down checked online and it said that all ramps were open...

in fine print...”this site is not updated daily...”

    Good afternoon everybody.
Brandon, sorry you didn't get to fish but at least you got out of the house for awhile.
Molly, nice job on the wood. Is most of that of that wood yours?
Jeff, sounds like your neighbor really enjoyed the time you spent with him.
    Have a good weekend everybody.
    Stay safe and stay healthy.

The maple I'm giving away, but most of the oak, I'll keep.
